I always have a rule when I'm going into the mountains. Enough food And water for 3 days minimum , And a sleeping bag.
They just don't make mountains like they used to.🤨

Reminds me to always keep plenty of drinking water and other necessary provisions in my car when traveling in the back country.
It's a paved road not "backcountry" but yes. It used to be standard to keep survival gear in our cars...different gear for winter than summer .
Same happened to me a few years ago, got stuck behind multiple mudslides as storms rolled in almost got washed away multiple times it was bad
Time to carry shovels in our vehicles, plus hiking shoes always always. Water, snacks?

Watch it for what? The area is not prone to flooding, most of the roads are paved, the rest is graded and drained. I would go up there is any weather.
This happened to me once, but I was in a jeep. Don't take more clearance vehicles on dirt if you can avoid it. Hello isn't always on the way.

@@LeslieBarger-e2t It's paved most of the way, and a graded dirt road the rest. You could drive any factory sedan on it. There isn't need for a truck.
