I never understood what people saw in Klami... Manipulation, betrayal, distrust, purposely hurting each other, NOT accepting each other for what and who they are, exploiting/taking advantage off and talking down to... How is that love and chemistry? Now, I'm not a particular klaroline shipper - any more, but I like Caroline better, with Klaus, than Cami. I haven't seen Cami making Klaus smile, laugh and relax, the way Caroline has. With Cami it's all seriousness, hurt and conflicts. Klaus has become so out of character with Cami, that I can't really recognize my favourite fictional character any more... I get character development, but this just seems forced and unnatural... If you ask me, there has yet to appear a good love interest for Klaus. I keep my fingers crossed for someone to appear on season 4 of The Originals. Preferably someone from Klaus' past... :)

I could not believe that Julie Plec thought true Klaroline fans would accept a knock off of Caroline in Camille. Daniel Gilles once said that after the audience saw Klaus with Camille that we'd forget all about Caroline and Klaus. He was wrong. Klaus and Caroline had more chemistry over the phone that it won a bunch of polls about best chemistry and best surprise moment and Camille is never mentioned because she was not Caroline and trying to force fans to like them was a waste of everyone's time. But now the real Caroline is coming to New Orleans and it's going to be epic!!
Here’s the thing
The producers of this show only brought in Cami to replace Caroline, therefore Klaus sees Caroline within Cami.
Caroline has blonde hair, so does Cami
Caroline is feisty and plays hard to get, so does Cami
Caroline last her parents in more ways than one, Cami lost her brother
Caroline sees the good in Klaus, Klaus sees the good in Care.
Overall I don’t get how people who ship Klamille are so blind to this, they’re only trying to replace Caroline by Cami to amuse the Klaroline fans.
Caroline was always the queen of Klaus's heart and so I always treated her like a queen as she was with her, it was not with anyone else, not even with Cami, Camille did not even reach Caroline's heels.💯💯💯
Caroline actually brought out the good qualities in Klaus, remember when he said that he showed kindness, forgiveness, pity and mercy all for her. Then after he went to New Orleans and met Camille, those qualities came out more better, so let's just say that Caroline brought out the best in him okay? 😊😊
He was better for camille cause he saw caroline in her, he wouldn’t do that for someone he wouldn’t have been so nice to a stranger, he couldn’t let go of Caroline and he saw her and Camille and little by little he fell in love , now i just don’t know what he would do if Caroline came back while he was with Camille, who would he choose, probably caroline wouldn’t make him choose but I believe he would give in and choose Caroline cause she was something he wanted so bad, he never forgot about her, he even asked stefan in sz 3 of TO about her so I believe be would choose her
Y'all can say whatever you want but Caroline really changed klaus in a lot of good ways than cami I mean remember how klaus was in the beginning of season 3 of tvd but his character evolved in season 4 and that is all because of Caroline In TO all the development he had was because of hope and his family cami didn't have part in it

Caroline was only an infatuation, at most baby love before he grew mature and fell in love with someone that he was actually compatible with. They just gave the fans what they wanted in season 5. How else do you explain Caroline forgetting all the bad shit that he did to her and her friends? Either it was really bad writing at that point or Caroline really is a backstabbing bitch because she had really close friends that died because of klaus and they were often living in terror because of the hybrid so how could he not be the villain of her story when she even told him in season 5 of tvd that she feared him, fucked him, and then told him to never return to mystic falls ever again. She was ashamed of even fucking him in the woods afterwards because she didn't have feelings for him, she had feelings for Tyler and Stefan and she felt like she betrayed them. So that's why I said it felt like fanservice in season 5 of the originals because they forgot all of that shit and just made her love on klaus even though he did those horrific things and although he never ever clouded her judgment before. She even celebrated bonnie stopping his heart. She led that so how did Klaus all of a sudden began to cloud her judgment when she was always against him? See. Season 5 of the originals was one big fanfiction where they changed the story and eliminated the background from tvd like it never happened making Caroline a backstabbing Mary Sue.

After all this years, I still ship Caroline with Klaus. Damn Julie hated you for not making this ship endgame but at least I know in alternate universe they got married and ended up together. The promise of “I intend to be your last” happened. Seriously tho, people got to stop hating on Cami, she’s a sweet girl and all she ever wanted was for everyone to be okay. She didn’t deserve all this hate. I may not ship them but I love Cami. She didn’t deserve what happened to her because of Klaus, and for that I knew that they weren’t meant to be. There's surely one thing I'd like to mention..most of us even including me die for klaroline than Camille..but still I think like.."from the beginning Caroline never thought of any good in Klaus and on later days she started believing in him but Camille was the one who believed that there's still humanity in Klaus and god damn sure that she is the reason we all got to see the good side of Klaus,,,I do believe in another thing too...Klaus even liked Camille because she reminded him of Caroline..even though Caroline wasn't there for him in tough times they are like made for each other.."anyway klaroline is the endgame and for centuries after Klaus get to spend his time with Caroline just before his death😭😭

I will open my eyes and believe Klaus and Camille's relationship only if Camille has made Klaus laugh and smile as he is in the darkest of his grids. If there is, let me know. His relationship with her was misleading and harmful to both. But with Caroline she was lit and that's just and they're not in a relationship.

Instead with Camille I think it was really a true love, beautiful and sincere, you could see that Klaus cared a lot and was crazy about her, and waited a long time before getting together because he was afraid of making her suffer ... same thing for Cami .

I feel like there's a lot of Camille fans that say that she isn't a copy of Caroline. Well guys, if Klaus himself confirmed that they are similiar, how can you say they're not? If you don't believe me, in the episode in originals when klaus takes Caroline for a tour, Klaus says that how he met Camille, and Caroline says "You have a type!". Klaus didn't deny that and went on describing Camille but which also resembles the qualities that Caroline has sooo..... In other words, Klaus fell in love with Camille because she reminded him of Caroline. Period.

Because yes, I hate myself for the truth." like I said in some comments, it's obvious that she couldn't run to Klaus and stay with him if he was a big enemy of her friends (tried to kill her boyfriend, killed Jenna, took Stefan away from Elena, etc.), she had Tyler, he killed a lot of people and she despises that.
