How to Make a Mini Pond for Your Tortoise!

- Here is how I made a quick mini pond for my tortoises
Timestamps to steps - (you might find this useful when doing the project)
0:12 - taking out rocks for a spot to put the pond
0:24 - pouring the sand and forming the shape of the pond with my hands
0:51 - watering the sand to make the concrete lay easier
1:09 - first layer of concrete
1:48 - laying down pebbles to go into the concrete
1:57 - second layer of concrete to make sure no water can leak through
3:28 - laying down more pebbles to help concrete stay together and tortoises
to move around easier
Materials -
two 50lb bags of "Sakrete Natural Play Sand"
one bag of "Decorative Stone Pea Pebbles"
two 60lb bags of "Quikrete 4000psi"

Nice upload. Please educate me about concrete...Isn't it rather toxic until fully cured to be used as as drinking source? Was curious how long you waited before introducing the cuties to their new pond.

You didnt happen to cover the concrete with a sealer so the toxins wont leach into the water?
