- As Esteban Chaves said before the start "today is all or nothing" as he looked to climb onto the GC podium at the Vuelta. Yatesy attacking the peloton just enough, getting Trofimov fruited so that he couldn't support Contador anymore was genius. It meant that he sacrificed a GC Top 5 for himself but was probably the final nail in the coffin for Contador's podium position. Awesome ride by Damo in the break and all of the fellas to make this happen. Chapeau!

Wow! Incredible race, fascinating to see the team talking tactics and especially "The Puppet master" pulling all the strings from the driver's seat of the team car.
The way this vid was put together really helped a relative noob like me understand all the machinations that go on, particularly watching Yatesy slashing away at Tinkoff, wearing them down, wearing them down so that Chavez could get away. Awesome team performance captured brilliantly.
I like Yatesy's comment at the end about how expectations have risen so much. "Sixth place and now no-one gives a fruit."

That was just incredible! I watched it live on TV, but the chance to go behind the scenes with OBE has added so much more. Brilliant work by the whole team. There must be a Grand Tour win next year.

Thank you, Thank you OGE for a fantastic team!! - I had tears in my eyes seeing all the emotion of the team. Only when you watch BSP can you truly appreciate that cycling is a team sport - where riders willingly suffer and sacrifice for each other - it has been so inspiring and beautiful to watch! - they are all winners. By opening up and sharing these emotions you gain more fans than all the other teams. Of course a great team includes everyone who supports the riders as well; including mechanics, soigneurs, DS, drivers - so I thank everyone who has done such a fantastic job this season. Now for the serious part - of course we all love Chaves - he has an incredible heart, is super talented and wise as well - can he make the top step of the podium? - For 2017, he has more help in the mountains, but at least two things need to happen i) A total concentrated effort by OGE and Chaves to seek marginal gains for time trials (especially longer, flatter ones). Of course a 54Kg rider can never beat a Cancellara/Doumoulin/Froome on the flat - but with tech/data/wind tunnel etc, the gap can be reduced ii) Wise Grand Tour Strategy - picking Chaves to ride the Giro over the TdF was smart in 2016 - Once the routes and TT stages for the 2017 Grand Tours are revealed, it will take detailed planning to determine what course/terrain combination will be best to deploy Esteban and the Yates twins. If Quintana and Froome are both determined to race 2017 TdF - then Giro may again be best option for Chaves (as GC contenders are unlikely to contest both Giro and Tdf (too close)) - so excited to watch OGE grow and mature and hopefully take the top step!!

In spanish is even funnier. His mother had an interview with a Colombian channel and she said that she just talked with Esteban after the stage. She said that she couldn't tell what Esteban said, but she finally did. And he said "Qué etapa tan hijueputa!" Or "what a fucking stage!" :)

Patrick I agree with you. It's my go to motivational video! For some reason(probably some music copyright) it was gone from youtube for a bit. But it's so good to watch it! Howson emptying the tank completely after sheriff got angry, then the reactions at the end. Oh... :)
