Thanks for the guide. Got my first few kills with 83 magic, vanguish and lunars on my ironman. My kill times are around 7-8 minutes though, not sure if I want to kill 14 more of these for the reaper task :D I did forget to use fire spells though, so I might try few kills with that (EDIT: Got 5:37 kill time first try with fire spell, so definitely a lot better). I also found Anachronia salt-water spa to be extremely useful. Even if the frost storm hits and drains your run energy to 0%, the salt-water spa buff will instantly turn it back on with 100% run energy.
Wait the Spa is so big-brained! Def pinning this comment. Glad it could help out, I found that sometimes I would get a reaper of 20 and I would do it for 1.5-2 hours just to get my reaper done. Definitely not the best task but if you don't want to skip/push for that heart/spear it's very worth it! Both warrior/berserker hearts and 2/4 spear for me personally
@@Eyeic Yeah I wanted to learn the boss a bit more so I finished the task, and the game rewarded me with the warrior heart on last kill (Ironman luck? :D). Got new reaper for 14 more kills, so I'm definitely going back there tomorrow. It's decent money for low-mid level ironman when you get the kill times to less than 5 minutes.

Thanks for the guide, just got this as my second ever reapers. Don't have lunars but I do have vanquished. Dont have any bossing experience besides safespot dagganoth king & now barrows for my first reapers task haha. Hope it goes well tomorrow when I give this a shot!
My man! Here's how my 8 kill reaper went Trip 1: Killed only 1, as expected Trip 2: Killed 1 and a half, accidentally surged into aggro of the mage one and died Trip 3: killed 3 Trip 4: Killed 3 and still had more than half my inventory of food, task complete Next time I get these, I'll be using 2 super magic potions & 2 prayer pots, maybe I'll be able to kill 5-8 in a trip! Thanks a ton

YES. Okay I saw this initial comment and wanted to check in with you on seeing how it went! Great progress, you'll become a natural at that surge soon enough. Nice on optimizing the interface and I hope you get a berserker heart soon enough!
Well it actually does two very useful things for you. 1) It lowers their defense by 5%, so pretty significant for one of the highest defensive creatures in the game. 2) It raises your affinity (makes you able to gain more accuracy with their weakness)

thats usefull im maxed but only t78 weapon i tried few times but accuracy was problem will try guthix staff spec maybe it will make bearable
