You should NOT be allowed to become a LandLord under Arizona law without living and being apart of Arizona these out of state organizations have no place in our community!!!!!!
Hopefully they will put all involved in prison everything going up like a rocket and paychecks stay the same with no overtime just straight ya ya hours you need to look more into rental companies
Extra Fees. I am a snowbird, drive a schoolbus for Gilbert, and about to sign a short term lease. The rent starts at $1375.00, but after all the “fees” it ends up at $1621.97. That’s $246.97 difference. This property is charging $75 a month just to have a washer and dryer in the unit when the laundry facility on site costs $1.50 for wash and $1.50 to dry. $60 Water, Sewer, trash when you can’t drink the water. $50 short term lease fee, $25.50 pet fee, and $13 to use their companies liability insurance plus taxes. Hooray scam. 🥸
SCAM sounds about right! Where is the transparency! How do they get to charge all those crazy fees ON TOP of rent??? Especially sewer, building, electricity and water?!?!?!
@@grQTbVMrZ I asked the same exact thing. They had no official answer. However, I did recieve an email after I posted this that the coming will no longer charge tax on reoccurring fees starting in Jan 2025. 🥸
You really should get the amenities you signed up for in a lease, as water and cooling. I have 5 nice rental units in Phoenix and Sedona. It's horrible how the tenants have destroyed the units. I wanted to help people out and took Section 8 renting to a couple with a small child, but they piled in 5 others in the space for 3. Cost me over $23K in repairs for unnecessary damage they caused. I'm not doing that again. I see the side of the landlord and the cost of taking in bad tenants. I had retired tenants during Covid that decided to not pay rent for over a year because of the moratorium and they had no job to lose, they were retired, but took the bail out anyway.
More high-density, high-priced, high rise human hives! Good to see someone in the media is finally shining some light on this! Also don’t forget the city planners who give the green light to this.
That is what I had heard from two friends who live there. I had lived in Tempe for 8 years (2005 - 2013). I had moved back to Minnesota, and the rent was higher here, not that we want to move back to Arizona, but the rent is much higher there....go figure.
Home insurance is killing us too
These companies should be forced to give back money to renters they've scammed.
Siegel Select is a large company and their rent for what you get is ridiculous.

Corporations should not be landlords

Nice job Morgan.

If I weren’t able to live with Dad I’d be homeless. I can’t afford any place in Mesa or Phoenix metropolitan area.
Luckily you have a dad my daughter and granddaughter is living with me they would be homeless if it were not for me helping them
Dang, this is almost as expensive as the Bay Area which is historically high. Isn’t Lena Khan after this?

The worst school system the worst road infrastructure something is very off.
Amazing at the same time everyone demands never ending increasing "minimum wages", everyone then complains about the cost of living.
It's time to get out of the U.S. the middle class is withering away.
I am giving up on buying a house, at least for a long time.

Theres been media coverage for years this issue will never get addressed across the states.
When u raise minimum wages, it raises the cost of living.

Arizonas a joke. High rent and trash built homes but people will pay millions for these...i just dont get it. Do people like being messed over?

How do we join the lawsuit if affected. Our complex does the same thing. Same software.
BH management charged fees for alarm tech fee, water fee, sewer fee, plumbing fee, every month
Uhmmm yes why isn'T it ILLEGAL??? It's egregious and absurd!!!
Rates went because of CA residents moved here
