The smell of walking thru my uncles butcher shop in the 80s, the dries meats, and all the different candy, chocolate bars etc from Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany all together, that smell was the best, brings back great memories just thinking about it.

Very nice. Great to see an old IB buddy doing so great. Keep it up Matt!
Horse saddle blankets. I always liked that.
One I don't like is burnt motor oil, mixed with hot anti freeze and hot dead bodies, especially after 5hrs in 110+ temps.
Love the show thanks Marcus
Good stuff! Where in Maine Marcus? Mainer here! USMC 1983-1990. Love the show
The smell of fall and deer hunting. Cool dry evenings setting in the stand.

Great podcast and great people.thank y'all for your service also
Awesome Podcast.
I used to have to mix Sunoco Ultra 94 and 110 octane Cam2 50/50 in order to turn the timing all the way up on my '78 Camaro w/SBC 406. I'll never forget that smell, nice and sweet. 🙂
I would love to see anyone that was involved with Maj. Troy Gilbert's (Trojan) downing of his F16 in Iraq. I went to high school with Troy in the late 80's in San Angelo, Texas .... and it took 10 years to get some of Troy's remains back to the US......I believe he saved several as he went down, but seems no one wants to talk about the details......
Smell of burnt gun powder followed by diesel exhaust has to be my smells .
Good patreon question. Not that my opinion matters but we need chuck norris on the show we also need an episode with Gulab. Man the stories those guys could tell is only imaginable
Isreal thanks you guys.
Great show...the pounding on the table though......
Lord blesses and honors the faithful- Beautiful, just beautiful!.
Jesus is King
Lol, the skunk smell...I'll try to keep this short. Picture two guys in their early twenties. I'd just bought a brand new Chevy truck, left the house with my buddy the evening before opening day of turkey season. Almost a case of beer gone as we got close to the spot where we were gonna hunt. Pitch black outside and we see this small, solid white, animal cross the road in the headlights and my buddy says "that's a mink! I'm gonna catch it!" He jumps out of the passenger side door, while I hold a flashlight on the thing. Well, instead of quickly scurrying off like one would think a mink would do, it's kinda hopping trying to get away while my buddy is trying to boot-stomp the damn thing. Then, I realize what it is...I roll the windows up and start screaming "SKUNK, SKUNK!!!" Well obviously, he can't hear me. The thing runs up the embankment on the passenger side of the truck, does a u-turn, and runs underneath the vehicle. All the while, my drunk buddy is still trying to stomp the thing. He bends over and reaches under the truck to grab it, and he takes a full, point blank, load of spray right to the face! To this day, I wish I could've gotten a picture of the look on his face when he stood back up and his eyes were as big as saucers! I locked the door on his a** and made him get in the bed of the truck so we could drive a little ways to get away from the smell. I look in the rear view mirror and see him shuckin clothes and tossin em as I'm driving down this Forest Service road. By the time I stop, he's butt-a** naked in 25deg weather, stinkin like he**. Needless to say, by the time we get back home the next day, that "new truck" smell was gone (and, it was six months before the last tinge of that skunk smell disappeared lol). Apologies for the ratchet-jawing.
Markus did you know Navy Seal Richard Peters he was in, in the 80’s and 90’s? He served for 21 years as a Navy Seal. He wrote a book-Man Of War. He was captured in Libya and held for 6 months. He’s a friend of mine when we both lived in North Idaho, we met at church.
Hey thanks for sharing I'd like to read his story
God bless texas ✌️

What’s crazy I’m quite sure if he went to a hospital/on base physician immediately that day. Got his stomach pumped or neutralized, probably better pumped it would had saved him a whole lotta issues. Man sucks!

Just an observation. Team guys can talk to each other all day long about anything/nothing. But it’s seems awkward when she interjects
