Dude did it just to steal a woman's clothes. He claimed that when he realized he had grabbed the "wrong" suitcase, he took out the clothes and left them in the hotel room drawers. The hotel denies this occurred - they found no left behind clothing. His airline confirmed that Brinton had NO checked luggage on his flight. He simply took it, stole the woman's clothes and then used the luggage on several other flights. A true inspiration for the children.

I accidentally did something like that myself, I brought the wrong suitcase home. When I saw my screw up I called the airport to report it and brought the bad back immediately. I didn't throw away the contents and then take the bag home. Which is what *_he_* did.
