The Purist csr games are just fancy and require paying money just to get good cars same with asphalt street storm the great ones are now nitro nation and drag racing streets but that requires lots of grinding and like said racing rivals shut down
Drag racing is fun and all, but like pay2win unrealistic shifting games aren’t that fun to play
Hayden Chan I understand shifting mechanics because it’s not as flexible as pc or console. Csr is really the only pay to win games as nitro nation just requires grinding but to a reasonable level drag racing street has lots of grinding but the currency is easy to obtain

@@joshhayesksu yes i mean beside Prostreet. Rather than making "unrealistic" twisty drag route (yeah i know in MW and UG series is illegal-type race) they better make it Roll-Racing-like drag race because it also more common in the US
It more believable than drag racing in "turnet" course. And make the drag race event in a proper straight line at least like in the crew wild run iirc
Prostreet got so many things right man, like the drifting in that game is the best out of every nfs. Its a shame that it doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

I think its a variable one that adapts or... Likely a RWD conversion.
@@h5skb4ru41 maybe, but If that thing was AWD and would do burnouts like these I think its safe to say thats not healthy for the car.
@@leogreck9984 there's cars that can deactivate transfer cases and use it to save fuel like part time AWD cars, which only become AWD if there's a traction loss.

In prostreet all 4wd cars did the warming burnout like that in drag mode
You have forgot about the NFS Shift drag races. Very well done races. Really gives the feeling of the voilence of drag racing. Its not allways easy to keep a car going straingt and this game really reflects on that.

NFS Pro street will always be my favourite in terms of drag and drifting
Forza horizon 2 is where It all started for me now I am almost addicted to the Forza horizon games
But for cars, my love for cars I got from my grandpa. When it was summer we always went on a drive in his old open-top car and it was really fun.

Pro Street was awesomeness for the Nintendo Wii. Using the nunchucks to shift up and down with the up and down motion was great.

I used to have the skate game (Think it was called skate it) that was pretty cool on the Wii

Bro hands down THE BEST and the most underated racing games related youtuber.
Forza has never been the same since FM4. The custom lobbies we used to have for street racing, or for cruising, THOSE were literally the days. I miss being able to ride up and down the long stretch of Mulsanne in my 2JZ-swapped Altezza, or even running the 1/4mi at the end with all my friends.

What's up with these toxic replies? That's not how I know the viewers of this channel. I think modnaR has a fair point. Joe makes amazing videos but some of them definitely seem inspired by videos from other channels, so it would indeed be nice if he would give a little shoutout to the original at the start of the video or in the description. There are some other channels on UA-cam that have awesome racing game videos too but they have a lot less subs because people just don't know about them. I wish we would support all the good racing game UA-camrs together and not try to make it a battle between them. For example I watch Joe but I also watch IsuckAtDriving, Paragleiber and Super GT. I think all of them are great players who make great videos.

Bro I remember the Racing Rivals days. that was def the best drag racing game
I love drag racing in the Forza Horizon series. I’ve played all of them, but I really got into drag tuning in Horizon 4, and it’s great. I’ve got a old Ford Coupe with the 7.2L V8 RWD tuned to hook straight off of a brake-boosted launch. I’ve only run against one other person that could keep up in RWD, and they had a nearly identical setup as me. I kinda miss ProStreet though, the level of tuning was insane. You could adjust everything from tire pressure to cam timing, although at the time, I was too young to know the difference. 🔥
Almost 20 years, two dozens of games with drag racing in them...
...and not a single one of them a good drag racing game. Feels bad man ಠ_ಠ

NFS Pro Street is so underrated. It had such nicely designed maps, graphics (back then) and amazing races and cars. Going fast as fuck with the Pagani Zonda on the highway where precision was sooo key, it was absurd but going that fast gave such a great and the shock failing bij hitting some latern was as big and great. Or the races where you had to drift with the commentators going ham. I mostly remember that course with the Volkswagen Polo in the desert which was a very neat race. Every course had a Japanese-like theme to which was very cool.
