Although making my own boxes is challenging, I find my time is best spent doing things like this and decorating an already-made box, it works better, and lasts longer than the ones I make. Thanks, Sherry for saving me all that time and frustration when I miss measure. Love this!

I am going to do this to a few large boxes I bought on clearance at hobby lobby- they are beautiful sturdy gift or storage boxes … but they are all Christmas with a separate lid (just like the jewelry boxes) I have wished they were hinged lids … never occurred to me to make them into a hinged lid! I have beautiful paper on hand- I can’t wait to transform them into beautiful storage boxes! Thank you once again for a fantastic idea! I don’t know how you come up with so many good ideas! You always surprise me with affordable ideas complete with great instructions! Thank you so much!

That is an amazing transformation! You always deliver projects that are so adorable. BTW, I want to thank you for recommending the Remover product for cleaning the glue off our craft tools. I bought some and went to work on my sad looking cutting mat. I was so pleased with the outcome. It looks like a brand new mat now. 😊

My dear I can go on and on about the cuteness of the flip boxes. I'm a fan of recycling and refurbishing. You're right the plain box w/whatever occasion paper on outside brings it all together and the recipient will love the gift inside and out...lol. keep 'em coming

I made boxes to fit the first project. Different sizes but the "Process" was there to follow.
It worked out really nice.

Hi Lottie, I use an iPad pro and an iPad mini. I am able to connect them both for dual views through an app called SWITCHER. I found out about it by doing some UA-cam research. There are plenty of tutorials on YT demoing how to set up and use Switcher. Hope this helps.
