My biopsy from my left ear canal came back with SCAP. My doctor said it was rare and explained it to me, however, I wanted to gather more information on this and I came a pon your site. Thank you. 5-11-24
@@JMGardnerMD thanks tu so much. Thanks to internet n you tube otherwise it couldn't be possible. U r always great n I m one of the subscriber from india.
@jerad gardner hey I have this I think. Should I be worried? It started as something that looked like an orange birthmark and this was what we thought it was I am 26 now and it has become reddish with small little bumps and we google searched and are pretty certain this is what I have on my scalp. I am currently in the process of getting a job that offers health insurance and have to wait till I get that to go see a dermatologist and it worries me. I am pretty sure it has been like this on my scalp for years but I never really payed attention to it because I thought it was just the birthmark I had. Recently I checked it out and instead of just being the small birthmark it is like of an inch in diameter circle of redness with small bumps and we google searched and this is probably what I have. I will go to a dermatologist when I get health insurance but I am just curious if this is what I probably have. If you see this please let me know. I can even send a picture if you are interested. I am aware that I still need to see a specialist to be sure but it would be cool if you responded, thanks.
This particular tumor is benign and not dangerous. But obviously there is no way to know the diagnosis for sure without a biopsy. I think seeing a board certified dermatologist is a great idea. That is what I do for me or my family whenever we have any skin issues.
Thank you for responding. I think it is this at an early stage as what I have is nowhere near what I see on google images in intensity. It is small pimple (even smaller sized) dots with reddish skin around the area which I guess developed from my original small orange birthmark. everything in the description of how this develops matches the lesion on the scalp I have. Based on everything I read it is probably Syringocystadenoma Papilliferum. Trust me I know that watching a UA-cam video is nowhere near seeing a specialist on the subject. I am just doing what I can until I can see one. Thank you very much and your video was very informative. Thank you again.

Very good explanation
Thanks for good lecture
Very good explanation Sir
If we have both naveous sebaceous and scap in biopsy.
How will u release the final report?
Pls type the format
SCAP arising in nevus sebaceus.
And add a comment that both are benign and no further excision is required in my opinion.
