@@VanillaMidgetSSBM That is what happened with "Anarchy in the U.K." by The Sex Pistols, but it wasn't the reason why Living Colour re-recorded this. I actually find this alot harder than the GH 3 version, not for RB's tighter window, but rather the every so single note added in midts of like every five notes requiring you to strum, id honestly wouldn't mind if it was just a simple pattern or hell, charted differently.
An iconic GH3 song, one of the best from that game. Also, this IS the original, unlike the one from GH, because that one was re-recorded. But the charting is better on that one tho, like you say. And also also, the bass chart has some chords on some parts of the song when doing the main riff. Really random for me to say that lol.
What a classic by a great band! Living Colour were one of my inspirations for learning guitar, so I'm glad I got to see this song again. Also, the charting in the solo is really fucking strange, especially with the fast strumming near the end, but alas, congratulations on yet another FC and another 1st place
Hmm, I think when I first played Rock Band Blitz and saw the year for this song said 1988, I thought “I thought this song was 2007. What’s going on here?”, but after a play of it, I found it sounded way different than in Guitar Hero. But as for this version, that first solo, although still a bit tough, feels like a cakewalk compared to the first solo in the Guitar Hero version.
The GH version had to be re recorded for the game since original recording wasnt avaliable, thank Sony for that. In the end the vocals and guitar sound much stronger than the origin, plus the addition of a better solo.
Yeah, this song was re-recorded for Guitar Hero 3.
