According to Cevat Yerli(Founder and President(till 2018) of Crytek(the game developer)),this was to be the first of a franchise but all has been stalled on missunderstandings and intelectual property disputes between Microsoft and Crytek. The project isnt listed has cancelled but Crytek went into re-construction after the financial crisis and nothing came out yet.
Just for the record, this didn't happen historically, the Roman Generals in Briton were excellent governors and treated the various tribes who wanted peace...amicably.

The closest parallel that I can think of would be during the warring states period of Japan wherein Hideyoshi, a man famous for his creative abilities in besieging fortifications, supposedly used the noise of battle and the surrounding woodland to mask the gradual construction of a fort practically beside another fort that he was currently besieging . He then had the vegetation separating both forts cleared during the dark, which gave the impression that he practically constructed the entire thing overnight. There is also the siege of Jerusalem during the 1st crusade where the crusaders made a very public showing of constructing a siege tower in front of a section of the wall that they were apparently going to attack. The defenders naturally concentrated their countermeasures on that particular part of the wall. However, the crusaders made their tower to be able to be disassembled in three parts and sneakily relocated the entire siege engine to a less defended section on the eve of their assault
This was one of those games that was fun to watch, but you'll never catch me playing. It's like the Batman: Arkham games, but crappy. It's a shame we have yet to get a roman fighter game as visually pleasing as this one, and this came out in 2013.
@@thanksdad9514 even still, most fighting games get repetitive real quick since it;s mostly fighting 5 different types of enemies over and over again. And if the gameplay isn't very engaging or complex it can get boring fast. This game is pretty much like that

The gameplay gets repetitive at times, but the set pieces and story were fun enough to keep an intoxicated me hooked through a whole play through Not at all historically accurate though, more in line with the Ancient World’s “my cousin’s neighbor’s sister’s goldfish had a dream about the events as they happened and I shall relay it to you” style of historical accuracy haha
