You guys are awesome! This video will save me an assload of time when installing the new projectors that I just received. Videos like these are what sets apart some companies from others. SpecDTuning seems legit and I would be happy to continue doing business with them.
Bought these lights. They look AWESOME. Just quick connect to the parking lights for the Halos to work. HID's fit in no problem and look great! Very good investment.
@IVTEC31 Thanks so much VTEC31, we are glad we could help. I think what makes them kick ass are the the CCFL halo rings. Because the gas filled rings glow brighter than ever. Good luck
@IVTEC31 Your right. At 4:50, you will notice a much higher blue tint, this is due to the lighting conditions in the warehouse are at dusk. Please remember, there will be a slight blue tint to the halo rings. Street lights and moon light will also be a large factor in the tint of the lighting. Thank you
yes, these are compatible with HIDs however we usually do not recommend HIDs as the bulbs for those extend further than your standard halogen bulb, and it risks being too close to your projector lenses. even tho HIDs burn cooler than regular bulbs, the length of it will risk melting
@energie888 The adjustment screws are located behind the housing of the headlight, one in between the high beam and low beam, and one on the outer side. hope this helps
@Specdtuninginfo oh, i know. i love my type s! I need to get a new front bumper but that cost too much money that i can afford right now. id love to buy a full mugen body kit ;D
I've got a JDM DC5 Type R, which use D2R bulbs connected to a ballast. If I order these will it remove the need for the ballasts and will any modification be required to make the pattern RHD legal?
@elizabeth7699 If both your fog lights don't work please check to make sure you don't have a burned fuse. Burned (popped) fuses are very common in cars. Checkout your fuses first. Also, tell me if you have already tried to hook up the headlights to your parking lights yet? thanks
we usually dont recommend HIDs on aftermarket headlights as the extension of the bulbs can melt the lens.. yes they are compatible but we dont recommended
HIDs are a seperate kit and only pertains to the bulb. However we highly do not recommend HIDs on aftermarket lights as they probably wont fit or will melt the projectors/halos
@IVTEC31 Your correct. Every one of the lights should light up. The eyebrows and the halos together. Please make sure that the power wires are for the power and the ground wires are for the ground. If all the wires are hooked up correctly. There might be a chance that your headlights might be defective. Contact us for more help. Thanks
Wire them to your daylight running relay. They don't consume that much power and should turn on and off automatically when vehicle is turned on and off.
Hi bought these headlight for my 2004 acura rsx but the halo don’t light up what did i do wrong please get back to me...everything is hooked up except the black & white wires on each headlight didn’t find where they go
Can you add a video changing the headlights bulbs out on this housing. It does not work the same way as OEM housing. And I can not figure out a way to get it undone without taking off the front bumper and the rest of the parts I had to when I installed them.
@rsxtypes0033 Sorry, all the projector lights now come with Halos and LED. However, the only ones that dont have the halo and led are the JDM (euro) headlights. Thanks and good luck
I bought a pair of these for my '04 RSX a few years ago. I found out earlier today that both headlights won't work, but all other lights will. Why is that and how do I fix the problem?
+Michael Mays Check the connections make sure both are pushed in all the way. If they are connected properly. Make sure the fuses on the headlights did not blow. Finally if the fuses are ok then you want to make sure the bulbs on the headlights are not burned out or damaged. If you just purchased them the seller should have a warranty and they should help you replace the lights if it comes to that.
These headlights were great for like the first year but now I literally have to replace my low beams on each side atleast once every 3 months sometimes it blows them within a month and the bulbs always go in easy but seem to get stuck in the housing somehow every single time it's a pain in the @ss to pull the burnt bulb out. I'm usually able to get my small hands in there with some small pliers and pull the bulb out without removing any parts but sometimes they are so stuck that the pliers break the back of the bulbs where they plug in then I usually have no choice but to pop half of the bumper off to lower it some to get to the side bolt for the headlight mount (I left the front bolt on the mount off since it's more work to get to just because of this reason) and then use pliers again to pull the broken bulb out. Then the new one goes in easy like it should be and works for a month or few then its blown again. Been replacing headlight bulbs cutting my hands up everytime every few months for the past 2 years I'm so sick of dealing with these crappy housings. They look amazing of course even though mine somehow got scratched the hell up somehow when they were super clear for the first year. Now also my right side halos started flickering and strobing for some reason while my left side halos stay on no issue. Overall great for about a year then its constant issues.
Im planning on purchasing these. I have HIDS already installed on my 2002 rsx base. What are somethings i have to worry about concerning the type of bulb to use , convversion kits, etc?
@californian9195 Best way is to purchase a headlight sealant, you can find it at your local auto store. remove your headlights and wipe out the condensation, then seal it.
It is 90 days warranty, If you would like to repurchase headlights again we can help you out with a discounted price. Please contact our customer service team for more information.
If my cut off lines are uneven how do I fix it? I tried the up and down adjustment but it is still badly uneven. Maybe the bulb can be adjusted? What should I do?
At time 31 seconds I bought the ones on the left. Are these compatible with HID's? I hate halogen lights so i will be dissapointed if they don't fit in the housing of the projector.
do you have to use hids for the DRLs/High beams too? because i'm having a hard time putting the x-clip on. and are the x-clips needed for the hids too?
I bought these for my rsx a while ago and whenever I try the halos the fuse always blows. I have tried a bigger fuse but it still blows....any suggestions?
@iLikeHotPocketsAlot Thank you so so much for your comments. We really appreciate that helps us continue our to work to help the car enthusiast community. thanks again, and please let us know if we can help you on anything. Thanks ilikehotpocketsalot
Oh, Okay, so can you pretty much gurantee it will melt? Do you get alot of people complaining that they do melt are u just not suppose to take the liability?
we dont GUARANTEE that it will melt. in fact we aren't too sure completely because it varies from different headlights for different cars. In this case, we just dont recommended it.
I just had these put on my 2002 rsx and I had to splice into the parking lights for the halos to work. This video does not show that part at all. It makes it look completely plug and play.
i have the same head lights the thats made from Taiwan! but the only problem is the visibility pretty short..... so cant c much in front abouts 15m cuts off a V lights shape c in fornt from the middle so makes me missed my odd lights visibility.! they look great an all but with a cost of visibility !so are these the same?? this where i got my from! mars_performance on ebay under Angel-Eyes Projector Head Light HONDA INTEGRA DC5 02-04

I bought these halo headlights for 02 rsx type s. I love them every thing works. The only thing i had to remove was my hid light bulb.
Are the lights still good, they're not cheaply made?
They are cheap and will start blowing headlight bulbs every 1-3 months after about a year. It's a complete pain in the a...
Thank you so kuch for posting this. I just wish you had shown us the indicator too
hahah im missing pretty much all the clips on the underside of my bumper xD

@keog2009 are you referring to your beams? you can try replugging the bulb again and doing the adjustment one more time to see if it works.
i would recommend a 7 or 8-12" ratchet extension. mine is 6" and it works... but only after around 10-20 minutes of cursing and dropping bolts
@josephbutch Thanks so much for the interest in our videos, we will try to widen the product list for the RSX and do more vids Thanks again.

Can I adjust the vertical and horizontal aim on these headlights? Can I adjust them once they are inside the car?
What would you suggest best to wire the halos if I dont have fog lights, any ideas what about parking lights?
Wire them to your daylight running relay. They don't consume
that much power and should turn on and off automatically when vehicle is turned on and off.

They wire to the corner lights.that's what runs the halos

There are screws behind the housing of the headlights that you can use to adjust the beamm
@kyori13 All projector headlights are HID compatible; you can make sure you use the same application on the projector headlights.

fuse?
Also check the DRL module. Rsx DRL modules suck same as civics of the same year tho so plentiful
need help what do i do once the halo light goes out is there a specific part i need to buy to fix it ?
Wire up the halos with either the fog lights so you can just switch the fog lights on or wire them with a interior power that gives continuous power.
@energie888 glad we can help!
i would like to know if this headlight would fit a 05-06 since is a different bumper ???
no. the two bottom dips in the 02-04 headlights arent there on 05-06

Please check your wiring and test the wires. The main cause of fuse blowouts are wirings.

why were the turn signals moved to the inside? that could affect inspection.
If my cut off lines are uneven how do I fix it? I tried the up and down adjustment but it is still badly uneven. Maybe the bulb can be adjusted? What should I do?
What do the turn signals look like?
Yes, these are compatible with HIDs

@Specdtuninginfo Yea, I know :[ And the tab that helps hold the bumper on (around 1:48 ) is broken and my bumper doesn't line up right:/
Where is the hole for turning signal?

what halo lights are these? or a link to purchase would be great
@elizabeth7699 Please do some double checking to make sure its not an internal problem.
HID's actually are cooler then regular light bulbs so they wont actually melt anything.
Is there any way i could put HIDs in these headlights?
Where are the side markers?
Will this work for 05-06 rsx? Lol i mean like could it be that different?
only thing different is the highbeam
Oh, Okay, so can you pretty much gurantee it will melt? Do you get alot of people complaining that they do melt are u just not suppose to take the liability?
@elizabeth7699 By DRL's I meant PArking lights any clues?
basically, screws might be placed differently tho
we dont GUARANTEE that it will melt. in fact we aren't too sure completely because it varies from different headlights for different cars. In this case, we just dont recommended it.
0:54 I need to replace this "plastic shield". Does anyone know the correct name of this part and where I could buy it?

Those lights are for sale on that website
What unit are you talking about? the headlights?
my fog lights no longer turn on and my car doesnt have the DRL's anymore :(
How do you turn off the actual headlight and leave just the rings on?
Wire the halos to turn on with the running lights. On my list and the only way I can think of just lighting up halos
I just had these put on my 2002 rsx and I had to splice into the parking lights for the halos to work. This video does not show that part at all. It makes it look completely plug and play.
