Being on the marketing side and not the design side - I’d say a lot of web design has nothing to do with marketing. In my experience web designers focus more on concepts, aesthetic principles and broad branding than specific marketing conversion strategies. Some designers (the best designers) understand both, but a lot of them are just making things that look good. I do agree with you, but I’d say many web designers don’t.
You're welcome! Yes you can use thrive architect with any theme. And you can use it with the default gutenberg editor, you enable thrive architect per page or post.
From my experience it cause a lot of issues to use anything not thrive with thrive products. they want to be that be all end all type of product but they update one aspect of the product once at a time and for example, now they are building features for their course plugin apprentice but they leave out other important features out for a long time so i honestly do not know who is their target market anymore. each plugin has a better alternative outside thrive but they are the only one that offer them all i one suite, now an overpriced suite.
