THE GOAT OF GOATS! Little fact, he used the thickest strings there are, and he would still break them! Double Trouble is one of the greatest bottoms ever! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@harrietmiller3982 I'm not sure about this guitar, Harriet. The only guitar I remember being stolen, was a blue Stratocaster, that was signed by both SRV and Jeff Beck, from a music store. It was later returned. I don't remember any of his guitars being stolen, but that doesn't mean there haven't been any. Someone else may enlighten us on that.
I used to have this concert on VHS lol ordered it out the back of a Guitar Player magazine. The version of Tin Pan Alley/ Dirty Pool off this is just nasty
Love the way u described this one, it's the first SRV number I ever heard. Fell in love instantly. Felt the same way hearing Jimi Hendrix' "Angel" which u may enjoy if u want chill. A very sweet singing Hendrix on that number. Funny how Jimi lead me right to Stevie cause Little Wing is so special. ☮️
I'm glad you aSked uS to write down good Soothing Songs! What do you know about that. We talking Stevie RAY Vaughn and Soothing songs. Let's not forget! Just Guitarist having fun good fun with good music or a tune! STEVIE RAY Vaughn playing "Little wing" The best Guitar solo ever in my opopinion! I remember telling some guys at school about David Bowie's video that just come out back in the 80's. Playing the guitar and how good he was. Let me tell you something Scooter & Sparkie ! That is the vary-well way that Democrats treat Republicans make all the-??? well--> different story for a different day. So C-YA !
So glad to see you circle back to Stevie! 👏🙌💯 like the suggestions below, Rivera Paradise, (at ACL 1989) and Lenny from this same Toyko concert is exquisite🎸🎶💯‼️.
Stevie is the best man - Riviera is a great pick for soothing December - check out Neil Young - Harvest Moon unplugged live - you'll love it man. Love the reactions.
Also from this same concert is the best version of Voodoo Child there is by anybody including Jimi. It is creative, free flowing, interesting, fun, and long. It is 15 minutes long. Well worth reacting to even if you have done another version already. If you don't choose to react, you owe it to yourself to watch🎶🎸💯‼️
@@barbarascotto3873 hi Barbara👋💙. Yes this is January of 1985. Reese Wynans hadn't joined with them yet. He came on board in August of 1985. You can search for the full concert on UA-cam. It is well worth watching. It is one of my favorite concerts.
@@barbarascotto3873 you are welcome and while I don't know the actual venue, I believe it was the only time they had been in Toyko. Here is the link to the entire concert. Camera work and video quality is great.👋💙ua-cam.com/video/i3wgzIphPJQ/v-deo.html

I really enjoy all of your reactions... but I LOVE it when you react to SRV!!!!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙 Flawless is the word!!
Dude wasn't all intensity & fire.....he was a smooth operator too.

Putting the man's talent and style aside, I've always loved that pearl inlay of his name on the fretboard of that guitar. Magic.
I read somewhere that this guitar was stolen. Does anyone know anything about it?

Every time I hear Stevie can't help but think of him playing with Janis Joplin.
Stevie never played with Janis. Unless you're talking in heaven.
