@@warido37wait, wouldn't it be Doctor God then? Since it's the "ishi" part that means stone? Of course I guess kami could also be paper or hair, I haven't checked the kanji for his name
Luke, no single human being discovered everything that Senku is doing lol It took centuries, if not millennia, to gain all that knowledge. All trial and error, trying to figure shit out, throwing stuff at a wall and seeing what sticks, trying to understand patterns, create models and theories, often failing ones, or ones that weren't very accurate, etc. It's true that human ingenuity is amazing, but what I find even more amazing is our ability to work together and build upon what previous generations discovered, to further discover even more stuff, and slowly build our knowledge through the ages. The only reason Senku was able to progress this quickly is exactly because he already has the knowledge previously acquired by humanity. No one person without this knowledge could do all of that in their entire lifetime. On another topic, I've seen doctors say that it doesn't quite make sense for Ruri to have pneumonia for that long, even with primitive ways to slow the disease down. It's normally a disease from which you either recover quickly, or die quickly; it's not supposed to linger on for years like this. However, I'm more lenient towards this than towards other exaggerations in this anime, since biology is very complicated and weird things happen in the medical world all the time. Plus, I think we can come up with an explanation that kind of makes sense, like : She had a weak immune system and ended up being sick all the time for years, catching one disease after the other, and recovering from them, before another one came in, and it's only recently that she actually caught pneumonia, and it would have killed her because of her weak immune system without the antibiotic. Or something like that. The other way she could have been sick for so long is due to tuberculosis, but in that case, this specific antibiotic wouldn't have worked (as Senku said).
from what i see.. science is mostly either discovered by an "accident" or doing trials and error over & over again to get thing you want but then i imagined what if somehow i create a blackhole by an "accident" when doing my shit my mind at 3am
Ruri was saved partially by local Hakone hot springs. Hot springs have good health benefits. Not strong enough to defeat disease, but enough to stave off disease for some time.
@@rainbowprism6242 I know this is the idea they went with, but I personally doubt this is enough. I don't doubt that it has benefits, but staving off pneumonia for multiples years? Yeah, I'm pressing X on that one.
12:26 Its as Senku said before, millions of years have gone into our growth and exploration, we've literally had the time to try everything and find out what works. Even if you only look at how long we've considered ourselves intelligent versus just as a species, that's still 300,000 years of history and learning that - for better or worse - culminates in the modern age, and we're still not done. Its been said that if you put the Earth's entire history into a book of 1000 pages, all of time that includes us would comparatively be little more than the last couple sentences at the bottom of the last page. Relatively speaking, we really haven't existed for very long at all...
The detail with the bro code with Senku and Ginro, as you said, if you are a scumbag the bro code is overruled, Senku isn't a scumbag, but Ginro on the other hand... Don't get me wrong, he has his moments to shine from time to time, but he's a scumbag most of the time and it ends up bitting him on the butt.
12:22 some persone figured SOME of it out, then some one else figured something else out, and THEN some other dude combined things together and figured some new things out himself and so on and so on.
A lot of scientific discoveries happen because someone tries something just for the sake of trying it, never knowing if the result might be something useful. People claim that capitalism drives innovation, but a lot of scientific discoveries wouldn't have happened under capitalism's model, since trying things for the sake of trying them isn't profitable. The people who ended up mass cultivating penicillin are on record saying that if they'd been working for a profit driven company they never would have been allowed to do what they did.
This episode is full of content. You have end of tournament, chemist leading us step by step through names of chemicals and giving medicine in weird angle (best angle).
I recall hearing that marriage actually used to work that way: just a promise from one person to another. Naturally something like that was often celebrated, which is where the modern concept of "a wedding" comes from. Religion also became involved as it often will during events of major significance in one's life (another example is receiving a Christian name). To complicate it further, the wedding industry wants us to believe that throwing an enormous party is a must so that they can sell us the required goods and services, which has majorly impacted our idea of what "a wedding" should even be. It's become so much grander than it used to be not even all that long ago. So in the past, it really was that simple, apparently.
"All of this had to happen once" Man here has never open a history or science book in his life🤣 Totally wasn't built off of previous knowledge and people kept adding things to improve knowledge. It's like how AI must have obiviously been made by one person by accident not using any tools or knowledge of anyone else🤣
allso there are many characters with the same last name hibiki tachibana from symphogear and Kanade Tachibana from angel beats same name entirely different story and plot so no luke dr stone and kaguya sama have not much in comen or atleast as far as i know

Ah yes, the Ruri scene is another blazing example of the artists…previous endeavors.
and i wouldn’t have it any other way
Yeah he made it white on purpose the real drug is red
Ishi=Japanese for stone
Gami/Kami=Japanese for god
His last name literally means "God of Stone"
ishi can also be read as 医師 meaning doctor :) doctor stone
@@warido37wait, wouldn't it be Doctor God then? Since it's the "ishi" part that means stone? Of course I guess kami could also be paper or hair, I haven't checked the kanji for his name
@@CrownofMischief 石神 So, yeah it's Stone God.
out of context of the series, that would be a hell of a good name for picking up people for a "fun" night
gods made from stone
The fastest divorce aka the shortest marriage in history😂
Even Vegas pales in comparison to Senku’s speedrun strats!
11:55 this is why I think humanity is incredible sometimes and this show is good at demonstrating that

Ginro was going againsnt the bro code, Chrome had dips on Ruri.
How did all of this happen the first time around?
Sometimes, when you "Fu€k around and find out", good things happen too.

How ? It's called experimentation and it often isn't what they were looking for that they would get as a result .
