I like how doing 5*13 to get 65 saved a whole 2 characters (none if you count the newlines). It takes 63 characters to not have to go up to 65 (not counting the first push instruction). I know it'd work better for different numbers but I just found that humorous
Obviously, the easiest way to make this language readable is to make descriptions of each instruction equal to its length. This is my attempt at that. InputByte AddTopPair SubTopBytes DuplicateTop SkipNextIfIs0 GotoLineNumber OutputTopNumber OutputTopAsASCII RotateStackToLeft SwapTheTopTwoBytes MultiplyTopTwoValues DivisionOfTopTwoBytes PopTheTopValueFromStack GotoTheTopValueFromStack PushThisValueToTopOfStack RotateEntireStackToTheRight

this is why, in my esolang. i made text output simpler(just outputs characters in the file, so you simply have to run the interpreter over the area with the text)
Have you considered making a video on the Whitespace esolang? All of the command characters are made of combinations of whitespace characters: space, tab, newline, and (perhaps) carriage-return.
Cool, didn't know that you showcased viewer esolangs, i recently got into making esolangs myself. (esolangs.org/wiki/Deskin), but i still have a lot to learn and didn't even write an interpreter. Next time i will try to make a more interesting esolang and write an interpreter for it. Thanks for everything, your videos are amazing and the only place that represents this niche topic. EDIT: Oh, hes a discord moderator nvm
dude i love the esolang content and coding stuff but I personally do not enjoy the intersections of overanimated cartoon characters. i like hearing about comp sci but gluing an uninteresting sketch onto it makes me feel like I'm watching a bad educational movie in middle school
you're like really, really good at making the comp sci / esolang part of the videos, but the sketches just don't interest me and actually frustrate me because I'm following and interested right up until the characters come up, and I just want you to get to the content, yknow? I'm saying this because I figure you'd want the feedback considering your channel is relatively small. do what you want with it, though lol
+1 i would show my friends your channel but those animations are not really fiting. i mean i watch you since yesterday so prabebly dont follow my opinion but still
If you make an esolang, will truttle pin your comment?
Yes!
¡Sí! हाँ是的!Ja! Так!

OutputTopAsASCII
RotateStackToLeft
SwapTheTopTwoBytes
MultiplyTopTwoValues
DivisionOfTopTwoBytes
PopTheTopValueFromStack
GotoTheTopValueFromStack
PushThisValueToTopOfStack

wow now this language is actually usable ^.^
here's my attempt:
pushInput
plusTopTwo
minusTopTwo
duplicateTop
popAndSkipIf0
gotoLineNumber
outputTopNumber
outputTopAsASCII
rotateStackToLeft
swapTopStackValues
multiplyTopTwoValues
divideTopTwoStackVals
popTopValueFromTheStack
gotoTopValueFromTheStack
pushFollowingValueToStack
rotateTheStackToTheRightOne
at least typos are acceptable as long as the length doesn't change
you forgot the length 12 instruction

The layers ow abstract(ion) in this channel are really growing on me. I love (to hate) Obfuscate and Carl is my spirit animal for sure.
WOW, you are really growing WHAT?
You where 3k, a few days ago!!!
Congratulations man!!!!!! Keep up!!!
5:34, i still love goto commands, if u even remember that comment i left like months ago
here before premiere gang!
eyy
same
Great ending!
I love these videos so so much, educational and funny xD
this is why, in my esolang. i made text output simpler(just outputs characters in the file, so you simply have to run the interpreter over the area with the text)
This video has 2 geometry dash songs instead of just one... Tuttle plays geometry dash? Factually true.
Yes
Best esolang
With a very good hello world program
@@lyxal_old would be better as a rickroll

So the command that is run is based on the number of characters on the line... so its basically just writing machine code with extra steps 😂

I already did that one
I always feel like i want to be his friend and he wants to be mine. His channel is so homey and awesome.
f l a t d e s i g n
you should do a video on Orca. it's a procedural sequencer language with a livecoding environment
omg i JUST mentioned orca in truttle's server! it's kinda like. simtunes meets dwarf fortress lmfao
Hmmm yes, length leng, hopefully they cover the os to.
Man the length of this video really was. Something huh? Im sorry ill escort myself out.
Awesome Video
Can you make a video on EmojiC by castrated on github? It's a language that almost exclusively uses emojis
4:01 lol

oh lord he bacc where are you pls I miss you very much
I'm right here
now i'm here
you should make a video where you program in PowerPoint!!
You know how to obfuscate that code? USE ONLY SPACES
Impossible challenge: Make your code run in both Length and Whitespace
Make sure to mix tabs and spaces, to screw with people even more
man, the animations in these videos really freak me out. just the oscillating movement
One way to obfuscate this is to only use spaces
im sorry mr truttle, i missed the premier, please forgive me

ok
second i guess
The invite is expired!
@@braindeadgaming8430 Made a new one
Another stack-oriented esolang...just how many of these are there?
Gotta use this for polyglots ^^
Are there length interpreters?
Challenge:
Make a program in a different 1d esolang, then convert it to Length.
İ love your videos ðey are þe best
İm sad ı couldnt watch it in time
By the way im trying to use those letters as a test.

I wasn't a mod when I first made length
I will showcase viewer esolangs more going forward. I'm considering doing NDBall, Aspwil's esolang, for the next video.
i understood stack and assembly
25+5+25+13+20 = 88 so multiplication seems like a huge waste of space really for anything less than 100 XD
I missed the live stream...
Wait can’t you just use spaces and tabs to create “whitespace”
I guess you could, though it would have a much different syntax
what is happening? there is lore?
Yes
wait wait wait that turtle girl with that blue belly thng is eidex's girlfriend?
eidex lore
Maybe Lolcode next time?
YOU USE DISCORD LIGHT MODE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
The Discord invite expired :/
Truttle had to delete it to stop a bot raid. I just pinged him to add a new one
Still not working
Can confirm
Where is width though?
Can't forget about height tho
That actually exists. I'd link to it but my previous reply with a link has disappeared
Is that lyp syncing? Are you doing lip syncing now? That's cool.

Its on my website
Okay, now I definitely know who is the worst character on this channel.
You spelled best wrong

Love the content , but despise the cringy reptile sketches
I wasn't sold on them at first, but now as long as they're short, I think it adds some interest
Your videos about the esolangs are good but I dont understand why do you use so much of those characters, it makes the video weird
Hah😂, this language is better then C#
