Don't know if that is good or bad or that"s what you were referring to in the video about sending to your machine wirelessly. Guess I should check out what PMV means & rewatch video. lol

Hi OleensEmbroidery! I would say that there is no rush to upgrade....There are a few cool things in the upgrade - the quilting things for instance and everything is improved a little bit. I think the BIG part of the upgrade is the wireless for the new machines - I do not have one, so I can live without it. If I find anything worthwhile, I will let you know. So far I would say that 10 is just as good. :)
I am pretty new at digitizing. I previously 5D Embroidery but now own a Brother Luminaire and am very excited about learning how to use this software. Looking forward to learning lots! Thank you in advance.
I to have purchased the Luminaire last week, like you I’m familiar with 5D embroidery and learning a whole new interface is cumbersome love the how to videos.
Thanks Sue, I've had mine for a little while now but haven't had time to find all the lovelies that you found. I have played a lot with the background fills they are so much fun, sometimes it's hard to decide which background to use LOL!!!
Thanks for showing some of the upgrade features. I haven't upgraded to PE 11 as it is too expensive for me. The new features look good but I don't think I would want to spend £349 just to get a little bit extra though that spiral stitch looks a lot of fun . Maybe when they get to PE14!!!
I don't think you will have to worry about the update. One day is probably good enough - there are not a lot of differences really, so you will still be able to follow along with classes. Sadly, I can't go back to PED10, or else I probably would! when you do the update, it overwrites your dongle, so I am stuck now.
I know the PE Designs are old but I have a PE 150 machine and it still works great. Do you know if the PE Design 11 can be downloaded free? I have the PE Design 5 and Basic. But because my laptop is now Windows 10 they will not work with it. Any suggestions.
Hi there I have this and I wanted to use a picture from a cartoon show and turn it into embroidery the picture I think is simple and there are only 5 colours but when I selected to do it from a photo and select the picture etc but on the parameters where is hshows you the image outcome and the colours the finished look has missed a lot of things off the photo like the nose which was just some black
Asked my dealer if I could purchase PE 10 since I was told PE 11 is $2,200.00. (It came free with luminair purchase). My dealer said brother no longer making PE 10. So either I stick with my PE Next or spend a fortune on PE 11. I would appreciate any suggestions on something maybe a little cheaper.
Leah, Just bought the PE Design 10 upgrade version. Where I bought it from also has the full verion, but if you have Next, you would only need the upgrade version. Hope this helps.
The sound is way too low. I wanted to see if they had finally added something that was worth the £400 upgrade price as this software has been terrible since version 1.

no rush for upgrading in my opinion, and keep working on PE 10! 10 & 11 are close enough to keep watching the videos :)

@@susannes2806 I'm in the UK and I paid £350 but our £ is very weak right now against other currencies so everything imported here is expensive.

really? they are not going to be making PE10? I had not heard that - and that also sucks!!
Only thing I can think is to purchase an update from pe next to pe 10
