Red River Heavy Current Goldeye (SLIP BOBBER FISHING SETUP)

  • When the warm weather of spring arrives, and the water temp begin climb. The Goldeye on the Red River become very active. We usually face one complication during this time of year. That would be the large volume of water that come down the red in the spring. One mistake people make is thinking that the Goldeye are out in the middle of the river and or in the super fast water. When In fact they are actually super close to shore. Sometime as close as 10’.     hey! i went the other night and nothing, i think i might have done somethings wrong such as no mono leader just 20 pound braid straight to the hook (do you think they can see it) and about 36 inches from bobber to hook? thanks!

      @@shxvk9298 that sometimes varies. For example, in the video I was fishing it about a foot and a half. You kind of have to experiment with how deep the Goldeye are.
