  • Cordless tools make it easy to take the tool to the work. This is really handy for making a quick cut out at the stock rack without having to move the full length bar into the shop or use an extension cord. This Metabo 18V grinder is the ideal tool.

I spent a lot of time taking all the safety equipment off of my tools. And I have the scars to prove that. This has taught me gloves and aprons are really cheap for the protection they provide. Cheers, Brother, Rock On.

@@jeffmaniak2148 normally yes absolutly, but metabo grinders have a clutch that would stop, so the risk of slicing through your hand may oughtweight the risk of getting spooled in in this verry specific edgecase.

Dude I don't cut a 2x4 without clamping it. At least clamp the thing down to that pile of steel its resting on. Your cut will take half the time and you wont have it flexing around that cutoff disc. This is how to avoid minor back strain by risking actual injury.

I love simple tips like this. When I was young my dad taught me to point the wheelbarrow in the direction you’re going before you fill it so you don’t have to turn round a full barrow

This might sound stupid but I have never thought of that, despite having to move a lot of dirt fairly frequently. That is excellent advice

I disagree. This looks like a good way to break a cut-off wheel.
