Thank you so much. I was wondering how people were doing things like flower petals, and now i know it's in the consistency. This was so helpful to watch the technique from the real start to finish so i can eliminate some trial and error on my end.

This is insanely beautiful. I do have a question. As you are building the herons body, do you let each layer dry before adding more layers? Thank you.

I want to do something on my walls. I understand what you use and how to. But this isn't on a wall, so what do you recommend step wise?? How do I prepare the wall in a sense?? So it stays and before or after painting? Im currently texturing the wall. Im a beginner as well, so would you recommend practicing first on a canvas or something alike??

Hi, I have an question about the material u use, is it plaster: the one that is used for finishing the wall or is it the one that witch u straighten the walls before using the finishing one?
Or it doesn’t really matter as long as the plaster has 45 to 90 minutes drying?

      Hi😊Thank you for watching💛🌹
This model that I work with is specially called joint compound and is used for filling and smoothing the wall
And the plaster that is for the whole wall and the end of the work is another model
I use joint compound to make this art work and the drying time is important to me because I have to give it a shape, it is not possible to do this, if it dries quickly.
      I hope I understood your question correctly🙏

Wow....thank you for this helpful video. Is it plaster of paris?

      Hi, Thank you for watching🌹🙏
I use joint compound. I have not worked with plaster of paris, but I heard that the duration of using the mixture is between 20 and 30 minutes.
And you have to make the small portions and increase your hand speed.

    How fast does it dry?

    • @MaryatDesign
      @MaryatDesign 8 місяців тому +2

If you mean after finishing the work, It depends on the ambient temperature whether it is cold or hot.
But generally, it takes 24 hours. (Its color has changed from gray to white and this time you can sand it)
But if you mean how long you can use the compound, Its duration is written on the package. The best is 45 or 90 minutes.
      Thank you for your question🌹🙏

«The second thing that I forgot to write was the amount of mixture you use, if it is too much, it will take longer to dry.»
