I have never really been big on eyeshadow but with watching your reviews I have found myself experimenting more with them and have received many compliments from my applications. girl you've got to get it!!! Lorac Pro is the best palette I've ever owned and i have naked 1, 2 and all sorts of other different ones but the Lorac is by far the most versatile
You mentioned such great palettes! When I go home for the weekend, I typically just take The Balm Balm Jovi palette because it includes most of the makeup I need in for the weekend (eyeshadow, highlighter, blush, and lipstick). It really helps save some space in my luggage since it cuts the amount of makeup I need to bring in half!

There are 5 colors in each palette, but you get a huge amount of product. You've probably seen them, but I can't resist spreading the word about an great deal! I bought the Smashbox palette when it was a TSV on QVC and I take it with me whenever I travel. It really is the perfect desert palette. I recently got the Too Faced one during VIB sale and I've been using it everyday since I got it! I really LOVE IT!!!!!
You are So So right about The Balm Packaging and of course ALL of their Beautiful Eyeshadows as well !!! I LOVE The Balm because it seems like they REALLY take a LOT of time and thought into naming their shadows right down to their Blushes, etc. What I want to try out is Mally....I'm dying to buy one of her Palettes but not sure which one I should go for first??? That was fun! I have a lot of the Urban Decay palettes and some Costal Scent palettes but have to day on a daily, most used, basis it's the small Wet&Wild which I didn't own any a year ago. Just bought their Fergie Jet Set at Walgreens 72 shadows, plus lots of lippies and blushes and face powders. On sale $22. Can't beat that!

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Naked palettes, because everyone includes them in this type of video. But again it's a nice change because sometimes I just hear about it to much.
I've only just recently gotten back into using makeup (finally done with competitive soccer so now I have the time and energy to wake up and look nice!), but it's been so long since I've used anything other than drugstore products that I've been sort of lost trying to shop for new palettes. The Smash Box Mega Palette I have seen in black outer packaging at the Cosmetic Company. Not sure if they still have it but it's a great place to check out. I love your reviews they are in depth and you give the pros & cons no matter if the product was provided or you purchased it. I really admire that and it makes me put more weight on your take on a product I was wanting to try. Love you and your channels hope your tooth is feeling better.

Here is what I do, I take them to my local Battered Women's Shelter and they love them, most women have to leave without much and this really helps them feel pretty. I also do this with unwanted samples or things that just aren't for me!

loved this! you mentioned so many great picks and really showcased the best aspects of them all. its also great how some not-so-good ones were mentioned too. in a world with soo many palettes it can be hard to choose, so this was very helpful and informative. thanks for sharing! :)
jaymejamjar Try and use the darker colors as liners! Just use a wet brush for a liquid liner effect, or a dry flat brush for a more subtle line effect. If shadows tend to transfer on you, you can layer it on top of pencil or gel liners for more lasting power. I usually draw a subtle line starting thin on the inside and slightly larger on the outside, for a "soft cat eye" type effect. Looks more natural than real liner, so it works for school and most daily activities. Hope this helps!
My most fav, and you don't have it yet, is: Urban Decay Naked Pallete 3! I love the Hollywoody Color payoff of this pallet, in fact, I kind of think to use this only on "special occassions!

I've really wanted that smashbox photo op palette. It's the 1 palette I seriously regret not buying. Once I made the decision to get it...it was no longer available - what a shame. I still think about it sometimes and I hope they decision to bring it back.

I like the tag, but i liked the one that Carah Amelie did, it was the same name, but its about creating the perfect palette out of the color of different palettes that you own, i think she tag you on that one, you should try it :)

I need to start reaching for my urban decay smoked palette. Can you do some holiday looks with that palette?
Urg, the smoked palette is my biggest regret. The colours are so dark I have a really hard time using it day to day.

I usually draw a subtle line starting thin on the inside and slightly larger on the outside, for a "soft cat eye" type effect. Looks more natural than real liner, so it works for school and most daily activities. Hope this helps!

My most fav, and you don't have it yet, is: Urban Decay Naked Pallete 3! I love the Hollywoody Color payoff of this pallet, in fact, I kind of think to use this only on "special occassions!

There are so many people on you tube saying they don't like the Nude Tude palette but I have 2 and love them I've bought 4 and gave gifts of them.

I've really wanted that smashbox photo op palette. It's the 1 palette I seriously regret not buying. Once I made the decision to get it...it was no longer available - what a shame. I still think about it sometimes and I hope they decision to bring it back.

I like the tag, but i liked the one that Carah Amelie did, it was the same name, but its about creating the perfect palette out of the color of different palettes that you own, i think she tag you on that one, you should try it :)
I said that the Urban Decay Smoked palette was best for travel too! I took it with my on a work trip and it was the best to take.
