I am gaining in my etsy shop. hit 100 sales last week. heres to the next 100.
Woohoo and congrats to 100 sales, how exciting!! 🎉
I watched your video all the way through but I don’t have an Etsy shop yet. But if I get one “I will be gaining in my Etsy shop.” Actually when I started setting it up I got to the point where they wanted my Social Security number and felt very uncomfortable and I went no further.
@nickihenderson3952 Congratulations!! What an amazing feeling!! Can’t wait til I have that many sales❤So excited for you💜
I started 3 weeks ago. I have listed 50 designs , no sale yet. But videos like these will keep artists and entrepreneurs like us moving forward. Thank you.
I am gaining in this Etsy shop!
I was feeling discouraged last week, but then I got the idea to look at a shop in my niche that I admire using Everbee. I sorted their shop from oldest listings to newest, and looked for when they started getting sales. Lo and behold, it was 12-15 months in! Their shop is booming now, but it took them 12 months to gain traction. 😊
Great advice!
Btw, I opened my shop in Feb and today I got a group order of 13 shirts! So shocked and excited!
My husband and I have a 3-year plan for him to be able to work from home and use my shop/s to supplement the shift.
Thanks Heather!
Woohoo!! 🎉 👏 Congrats to your success and thanks for sharing! ❤
Thank you this is very encouraging 🙏
I decided I was going to try this for three years before I give up. My shop is actually already doing ok (relatively speaking) I've got about 7 sales from people I don't know and I've been open for just over a month. That feels slow to me but I'm going at it hard for three years and if I make it three years and I'm still not getting sales then maybe I'll re-evaluate.
my path: month 1: 20 $, month 2: 100 $, month 3: 500 $, month 4: 2500 $, month 5: 3000 $, month 6: 3500 $, month 7: 5000 $, month 8: 7500 $ . to reach this, I have been working like crazy full time. dont listen to people who tell yo to go slow. After 3 months, I had 900 products.
Is that revenue or profit? Either way it's great and so is listing 10 products a day consistently. Sounds like the way to go.
Just landed our first sale in our 3 month old shop! Ive learnt so much and am motivated to keep going!
I am gaining in my Etsy shop!! Which didn't even exist a couple of short months ago. And you're spot on point with this video, because EVERYTHING starts with mindset! New subscriber here...I love your videos and the positive energy you emanate, even through a computer screen. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience!
Thank you for sharing this. I needed this for not only my new Etsy shop but for life in general. I'm starting The Gap and the Gain tonight. You're wonderful, I appreciate you.
We are in just over a year, we are pushing 1000 sales. It is a lot of work, but it allows my wife and I to work at something together. We have made a lot of changes along the way and are still making changes to move the business forward.
Already in that mindset. Thanks for the video. Love u Heather❤ I am leaving this comment over here because right now I am at 0 sales and I will return and post the update when my store succeeds. That's for sure!!! Keep on working, keep on grinding!
Im gaining, slowly. Just got my 2nd sale yesterday after i opened my shop in January. Really hard to keep patience at this level and occasionally your videos like this do help me trod along
I literally wanted to close my shop this morning and then l came across your video. Thank you for your kind words. I needed this so much today. ❤ x
I'm gaining in my etsy shop. Thank you for giving me motivation to keep grinding. Love your videos!!
Thank you Heather, you are incredibly encouraging!!
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. What a divine timing video! It's hard sometimes when you see that other people have such crazy success but the other day I had an awakening. I realized that almost everyday for a year now I have had at least one sale except for maybe 3 days in an entire year. Usually a lot more than one sale which is great. And that is basically money that is coming in without me having to clock in and work, so just money that is coming in passively, and that alone is incredible! It definitely helped shift my mindset into a gain one, and honestly left me feeling so grateful. Thank you for the book rec! :)
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. You are such a wealth of information. You should be so proud of what you are doing. You are excellent at teaching, please continue to keep up the good work. You have accomplished so much at such a young age. Thank you very much!
I am gaining in my etsy shop. Thank you for the encouragement, it makes sense. I needed this.
I am gaining in my Etsy shop.
I have 80 sales in my first 2-3 months on Etsy. I am proud of myself but Ive been in a slump as of recently. This definitely makes me feel better 😊
80 sales is amazing 🎉
Thanks, Heather! I'm exactly at the place you described, and I think this video has proved to be timely!
I am gaining in my *depop* shop!
I made the shop last year to be somewhere i sell handmade and personalised items, and after researching my niche, designing items, buying the materials and packaging, making the products, making social media accounts and making promotional videos, I’ve definitely grown from where i was in the beginning. I didn’t know anything about setting up an online shop at the start but now i do! I also know my goals of making more promotional videos, improving my filming set up, re-listing items and growing an online community. And while i currently can’t make physical changes due to exams coming up, i can still plan my strategy going forward for once they are done to integrate it into future plans. Thanks for this, i was feeling very down about this lately and this was encouraging :)
Heather, I needed to hear this today. Thank you!
I'm so happy this video found you at a good time and thanks for watching! ❤
I'm focusing on my gains! Thanks for this positive message, I just found you on UA-cam.
I am gaining in my Etsy shop ❤ Very very helpful!!! Thank you for this !
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. Appreciate you and your videos!
I was just going to give up! Thank you so needed this
Thank you for this video !!! I opened my Etsy store a few weeks ago and got my first sale last week! It was a big first step. I know I have still a lot to do but I really appreciate the fact that I can learn everyday. A few months ago, I was a complete beginner, knowing nothing about Etsy, listings, mockups, adds.etc
This first sale is a baby step but it's a step !
I am gaining in my Etsy shop! Thank you Heather!
I love the advice and your voice on videos.I go to computer classes getting help to open Etsy shop.I love making my beaded jewelry.Although apprehensive I will try to stay focussed and enjoy the learning journey.
TY i really needed this. All the best
Yay, I'm so happy the video came at a good time and thanks for watching! 💕
Im gaining in my Etsy shop. just got my first sale!! (Insert nerdy happy dance) You have been sooo helpful thank you for sharing everything you do.
I’m gaining my Etsy shop, thanks for your inspiration videos and I was so confusing when I saw some competitors shop has fewer listings but got lot sales. But comparing my own I’m doing better than one year ago😊 which is thankful. I believe my shop will reach my goal one day.
I'm gaining in my Etsy shop. 🎉 thanks for the motivation.
Thank you! I have been on Etsy for less than a month with only two sales. And comparing myself to the high sellers. This is exactly the perspective I needed...I have learned so much in the last two months and needed this push to look at things from the gain side rather than the gap.
I started in the end February and have no sales with 29 listings. But I will keep posting :)
Aww, I'm so happy this video found you at a good time and thanks for watching! 💕
I am gaining in my etsy shop -- or hope to be as soon as I get it open! Thanks for the insight, Heather!
Thanks. This is what I was doing so now I can move forward and feel better about my accomplishments.
Gaining! We have learned so much and keep learning more every day. Hard to believe how far we have come in 4 years. 🙂
I am gaining in my Etsy shop....thanks to you! Thank you!
I am gaining in my etsy shop ❤
New here. Love your style of teaching. :)
Thanks for another great vid Heather. Can you share a list of all the books you've read? I know Atomic Habits is another fav of yours (ours) :)
You are so encouraging, so thank you! I started in December 2023. I have about 96 items. I have an awful time staying within a niche. I am now working to post 1 item a day. I have made 3 sales (4 items). However, I am learning every day. After listening to you today, I feel good about where I am and where I am going. Again, thank you!
Gracias por el vídeo 💖🤗 anima un montón 👏🏻✨
Thanks so much for this❤. I’m just starting out.
Thank you. I reopened my shop and had my first big month for me. $3k. I will keep going and I appreciate you for reinforcing my decision.
I Totally needed to hear this. I'm 2 months in and only 2 dozen sales. I'm still trucking.
I am gaining in my Etsy shop and excited about continuing in the current gain!
I am gaining in my etsy shop. I was honestly contemplating just giving up, so I was looking for a sign to decide the next steps. I will take this video as a sign to continue with my etsy journey. Thank you so much!
Aw. I love that this video found you at a great time! Sending virtual hugs and you got this! ❤
@@itsheatherstudioMe too Heather, thank you 🙏🙌💪
@@itsheatherstudio so I believe I need thousands of listings to get a sale however I did get your roadmap to success but writing descriptions and tags take so much time
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. I am real discouraged right now so this really helped me remember this is a marathon and not a sprint!
I just wanted to say Heather that I find your videos really helpful. As I have newly opened Etsy. I thought I was patient. 7 days is too soon. But what is getting me down is the amount of spam, fake Etsy messages. In 3 days I had 21 fake messages. And the lack of Etsy support for new or old sellers about other this... Is different planet bad. Sorry rant over. And keep up the good work
"i am gaining in my Etsy shop". . . . i'm actually about to open my etsy shop but i have to tell you that i LOVE watching your videos and all of your funny quirks!! You are definitely a HUGE part of my journey. . so Thank you!!!! BTW you're glowing in your more recent videos!!! :)
Thanks for all your kind comments here and supporting my channel! 🥰 ❤️
I am gaining in my Etsy Shop
To be honest I believe I have 30 sales and it’s been almost a year BUT I have learned so much and gained so many new skills that will pay off. Also I have done almost zero work in my Etsy shop because I’m creating a new product that will help so many people once it’s available. I’ve also built me a very nice website thats in maintenance mode now while I continue to build my new product.
Thanks for your video and inspiration. Everyone else NEVER give up!!
I think I'm just wasting money on subscriptions, AND ads. Ads have just wasted so much. I clearly failed at following that too.
I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and trying to take the plunge and start a shop! I could get long winded but we’re about empty nesters and have this feeling in my gut that there has to be more than my 9-5 desk job! I’m not a designer, artist, or even talented in one thing! 😢😅 HOWEVER I love crafting and trying new things! I see people list 1000s of items so that also feels intimidating! I need to read this book! ❤
I am gaining in my Etsy shop, slowly but learning along the way. I really like the reframing of gap vs gain. I try to focus on the wins and the loses are just tuition I paid to learn.
I am totally feeling this way! I know I need to do more research. I have 60 listings and no sales .
I am gaining in my Etsy shop, in that I'm still adding listings. No sales yet, but I'm enjoying the moments of inspiration for ideas. This is scratching the creative itch that my current job lacks and keeping me from doom scrolling at night. Thanks for the continual encouragement. My long-term goal is $1000/month in profit.
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. About to create my first listing!
I am gaining in my etsy shop. A family member purchased a few things to kickstart us. And I'm doing a lot of niche research for finding new product ideas and continuing to make new listings. (Been open for 2 weeks) lol.
I am gaining in my store. I'm at 136 sales - slow and steady wins the race! Just keep being persistant, consistent and patient.
This made me hit the subscribe button ❤
Woohoo! 👏 Thanks for subscribing! ❤️
I've seen Ben Hardy talk a few times and I love his content. 10x is easier than 2x was also incredible. I read the Gap and the Gain a year ago and literally think about it every day
I am gaining in my Etsy shop!!! I haven't made a sale yet, but I still and will keep going! :)
Brilliant. Thank you.
I am gaining in my Etsy shop.
Speaking into existence...I am gaining in my Etsy shop!
I am gaining in my Etsy shop ❤ Thank you for this message, my daughter and I are in the beginning stages and it’s definitely a learning experience. But I’m stepping out in faith and will continue to believe and trust God’s plan for my life. He didn’t say it would be easy and there wouldn’t be challenges along the way ❤.
Heather is your course a go at your pace or a live course? Would I be able to go back & rewatch if I had to? Thank You for the content...great job!
Hey there! The course is a pre-recorded course and has a private FB community. If you have any other questions about the course my email that I respond to a bit faster on(sometimes I miss comments) is hello@heatherxstudio.com. Thanks for watching! ❤️
@itsheatherstudio thank you Heather!
We are def gaining in our Etsy business - slow and steady and a few false starts but been consistent for 60 months and just made our 28th sale
Thanks for this video. Have got one Etsy shop with a fabtastic Q3 and Q4 but now.... it is silent. Also my competitor has copied everything ;( I will keep that shop but I am in the process of starting another one with products made by me, because I love doing that but also tie-ing in personalisation. At the moment I have a bit of an imposter syndrome for the new shop so the timing of this video, thank you!
I am gaining in my etsy shop. I know it is a bit of a numbers game to get sales. It is difficult at times when nothing is moving, but keeping motivated and looking at past accomplishments that is the foundation for the future is something to keep in mind
I am gaining in this Etsy shop! 6 sale so far and over 180 designs in 3 products categories :)
I’m gaining in my Etsy shops. Also I’m getting a computer Friday and then I can start designing and creating and adding to my Etsy shop!
Hello, I've had a Shopify and Etsy store for almost 1 year but no sales yet so I'm definitely one of the people who haven't seen what other sellers are seeing. I've watched countless Etsy videos, tips, tricks, trainings, and still zip nada. Been feeling like maybe this isn't for me lol, but I just don't want to quit, Trusting in God's timing
Hello, can I purchase from your store?
My gain: made 20 sales, mastered photoshop, now mid journey and Kittl. I need to learn marketing and see you guys at the top. Cheers 🍻
Hi, I'm just curious, I wanted to check out your Etsy shop but can't find a link, am I missing something?
well i got my first sale after 4 months the other day. It really kinda gave me a boost, now i just need to figure out how to go from here
Yep, I'm feeling like giving up.
💯 Everyone else has a bestsellers in a month They say …. Not me .. keep going but its heavy and despressing
I'm right there with you! Paying for ads seems to be a bottomless pit
Feel the same 😢
I feel the same
Opened my shop yesterday with just one product but have ideas for others.
It’s so crazy because every time I felt defeated and wanted to shut my Etsy shop, I would always get an sale lol
I am struggling because I started my etsy shop in / around November of 2023, and the only 3 sales I have are from friends.
From what I can see, the majority of my traffic comes from my posting on Facebook and Instagram, but no sales. I have adjusted prices, added better mockups, changed shipping, but no additional sales.
I am definitely discouraged, but I am not willing to quit. There are too many important life opportunities that depend on this being successful.
So.... hopefully, I can make this work with the learn and try method.
I’ve been following Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy for several years. Great inspiration.
Starting to feel this way. Only 6 sales since Jan 1! Only getting about 8 visits a day yet I have improved my designs, my SEO and my photo cards to help conversion. I am niching down but making sure there's high or decent SV. I have no clue what I am doing wrong. I only have 230 listings now because I let all my Xmas listings expire except the ones that sold last Q4. I'm still listing 3 a day x 7 days a week but starting to wonder if it will ever take off. Would love to learn more about leveraging Fb groups. Not sure how to do what you discuss in your course. Having said all this, I am still going and not willing to quit!
I am gaining in my Etsy shop!!
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. Setting up prints and the goal is to put out 5 - 10 listings a day
I am gaining in my Etsy shop!
I’m gaining in my Etsy shop!
Wait that's an actual badge on Etsy? I thought it was something you guys were saying to flex 💪 lol 😂
I am gaining in my Etsy shop
Earlier in the day before watching this, I got my first POD sale. Not Etsy sale. Let me explain: Most UA-camrs won't/don't mention how you need the funds to order from these POD sites in order for Etsy to release the funds for newer shops. I'm unemployed right now and don't have funds to just order items to sell on a regular basis.
I started my Etsy shop last week, building a catalog and synced with my Square Online store. I had a return customer from my service business come and purchase an item that's POD.
I plan to do this (with digital download items on Etsy) until I have an hourly job to support my startup costs for POD > Etsy sales.
It's not the ideal route that I had a week ago, but when life has obstacles, you go around them. Hope this comment reaches those who need it. It may take a little longer than you wished, but keep going. Also reward yourself when you hit milestones. I just allowed myself some self-care relaxation as a treat to myself for making my first sale. Now your turn!
Hey there! I've mentioned that a seller is charged first a few times on UA-cam and have a free crash course where I always recommend people to start with POD because I explain just that in the video. I definitely think it should be talked about more though! I will take this feedback to making a video around how the POD process really works because I think it's very important, especially for people in tough situations who may not have the startup funds. Besides that, congrats to the first POD sale and thanks for sharing this with others as it is important! ❤️
@@itsheatherstudio clarifying: I wasn't implying you didn't say sellers get charged first. Just that most UA-camrs that talk on this topic, don't. I appreciate that you have, and are transparent about it. Thank you.
I think the most irritating thing is that I only get very few sales and Etsy taking most of the profits. I have only had 8 sales the first 4 or 5 I had the adds thing turned on and everything I made was to pay off the adds. I turned it off and now the bulk is going to their fees. I did 74 dollars in sales but my profit is only 48. I’m not seeing any increase in my account so I would like to know what I am doing wrong
I’m gaining, thank you for the boost of encouragement!
I'm sticking in it for a whole year now. Had 16 sales😅 so sometimes it's not about quitting...
Hello, are there any etsy sellers? I can provide high-quality Buddhist original handmade products. Is there any seller I can work with?
As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns
that requires a fair amount of research and good market timing
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.
I really acknowledge your comment, i have been trading stocks for a while now but i have not been able to make much. how do you achieve this feat?
Determine your risk tolerance first and foremost.
Be aware that it costs money every time you buy and sell a stock. A lot of people think they can make a nice profit by buying a stock when it dips down a little and then dumping it when it recovers but they fail to factor in the considerable fees the brokers charge you to place your orders
Also be aware that it's basically gambling, it shouldn't be done with money you're going to need in the future, consider whatever you invest already lost
hername is Monica Lisa Payne, cant divulge much. Most likely, the internet should have her basic info, you can research if you like
I am gaining in my Etsy shop. Two sales this week! yeah!
Woohoo and congrats to the sales! 🎉 Thanks for watching! ❤️
I am gaining in my Etsy SHOP!!
I was lucky second day active I got my first sale, 7 months later I’m at 3200 sales. There’s so much discouragement when you spend so much time, no sales makes it feel like time wasted. Research, research, we spent hundreds of hours of research and design before going live. Research continues. This is not a passive process. Keep at it. It’s not easy. We just now barely became profitable, but not by much. We are a digital shop and make enough to cover our subscription costs for production and then some.
I was feeling extremely discouraged this week, as I've had sales everyday for over a year, and then this week I went about 5 days without any sales, and my views tanked drastically, I'm still struggle to find good consistent profitable niches, but I did post a lot of listings in a good, well researched, not-too saturated niches, now I just have to be patient before I start seeing traffic on them. But it definitely can be discouraging to not see that consistency. I almost quit last month, but remembered I've been at this place before and saw consistent sales I can do it again.
Hello, I can provide high-quality Buddhist original handmade products. Are you interested in working together?
I am gaining on my Etsy Shop .
I am gaining! And in the 21 Day Challenge! 🎉 Thank you @HeatherStudio ❤
The problem with Etsy is they don't send you your sales money until you sent the products, but if the persona don't have the money for invest will be lost of time
I’ve been consistent with my shop since October and I have had one sale
I have two customers that bought shirts using the express shipping option and both have not received their shirts two weeks later and they want full refunds. The shirts were time sensitive meaning the whole reason they bought them was to celebrate an event that has already passed. If I refund the whole amount with shipping, I am losing a lot of money. How can I run a business where I could lose $20+ out of my own pocket for each of these orders with express shipping when USPS decides not to deliver my order. Does anyone know what to do in this case? Who should be responsible? I used Printify for these orders.
Hi there. I too, am a struggling etsy seller. I have run into similar situations. Here is my advice. Your strongest asset in this business is your reputation. Everything else you can screw up and fix later. People giving you 5 star reviews and positive comments are like gold. Negative reviews are poison and will kill your business before it even gets started. None of us wants to pay money out of pocket to fix things, BUT YOU MUST FIX THIS. It is not your fault but it is your responsibility to make it right. I always put myself in my customer's shoes and imagine how I would like to be treated when something goes wrong. I do the right thing for the customer- always- even when it hurts. And I do it like I want to do it with a smile on my face, never begrudgingly. Go above and beyond with these people- give them a refund, a heartfelt apology, and a special coupon code in case they ever decide to try you again, In the long run it will be better for your business and you will feel better about yourself. Also, talk to Printify. Explain the situation. I have found that they are usually responsive to these issues and will make things right with you. I wish you well- good luck.
Watched the whole video. I wish i was gaining in my shop
