I'm pretty sure this is by far the worst second lead syndrome I've ever had. I've preferred second leads over main leads a couple times but was able to accept it due to the main lead being more compatible or at the very least it felt right.I think it's mostly because in School 2015 Tae Kwang & Eun Bi had so much chemistry together; they even had more bonding moments and scenes together in general. It felt like they were the true main couple but didn't end up together. Them winning the best couple award proves the point.

Its a really good drama tho like the storyline is amazing but you'll die at end because the person you thought was main lead turns out to be 2nd lead and it just breaks your heart, trust me there were so many people that were angry at the ending (except for those Han Yi An fans which was like 10) there was a petition and everything. But its all up to your feels and how you take it. I'd recommend it but don't get your hopes up if your team Tae Kwang 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔
Yook Sungjae got that break through for School 2015 series! Honestly, I found the start of the drama quite boring....until Gong Tae Kwang appeared and he caught my attention right away in his first hanging scene in the hospital. This boy is oozing with talent, personality and charisma. As the series progressed, the anticipation of Eun BI and Tae Kwang's scenes together kept me glued to the drama. Yook Sungjae's acting abilities and cuteness and handsomeness and charisma.....name it, he has it all and was oozing through out the show, even over shadowing the male lead star. No wonder 99% of viewers felt heartbroken when they did not end up together. Still, YOOK SUNGJAE soured high! Love him so much! More power and blessings to him! I cant wait for his next lead role.

THIS DRAMA WAS A REAL TORTURE. WRITERS AND PPL BEHIND THE SHOW KNEW THAT TAEBI WERE PERFECT TOGETHER, THEY EVEN CREATE MANY CUTE/FUNNY/ROMANTIC/GENUINE/HEARTWARMING SCENES OF TAEBI BUT CHOSE TO DESTROY THE ENDGAME. I FEEL LIKE IT WAS REALLY A TACTICS TO CREATE NOISE AND IMPACT UP UNTIL NOW LOOOL. THEY ALL KNEW THE POTENTIAL OF THIS LOVE TEAM AND I FEEL LIKE ITS REALLY THEIR MOTIVE TO NOT MAKE THEM AS AN ENDGAME. TAEKWANG HAS EVEN MORE SUBSTANCE AND STRONG STORYLINE THAT NAM JOOHYUK SO YAH FOR ME TAEKWANG WASNT THE SECOND LEAD. HE WAS THE MAIN. SUNGJAE CARRIED THE SHOW MORE THAN NAM JOOHYUK.

I'm here in 2020 because the drama "Start Up" reminded me so much of this drama. second lead syndrome is so strong in start up and I feel my heart nearly breaking. I'm team Han Jipyeong all the way but so sad he's the second lead... also cause the first lead in start up and school 2015 is Nam Joo Hyuk so very similar situation...

@@Bad_vt they don’t. 😭😭😭 He’s just the second male lead, so she ends up with the other guy. It’s such a good drama, but the ending was terrible for me. This is literally the only drama where I had second lead syndrome. They had the most romantic moments but they don’t end up together
There is a Chinese version of this called "When We Were Young" and I believe that their Chinese versions of Eunbi and Taekwang get together

i haven't even finished the kdrama and i found out tae kwang doesn't end up with eunbi, like for what?? why did the directors do him like that. taebi had way more chemistry and he liked her for being eunbi. yi ahn only liked eunbi bc he thought she was her twin sister. #JUSTICEFORTAEKWANG
