Can't believe you never had your thyroid check. I went to the GP for depression and they did a blood screen of everything from vitamin D to celiac disease, just to see. I was also hypo but after 5 years they eased me off the meds because it kinda figured itself out.

Just wanted to let you know that I’m so happy for you and your husband. There’s nothing more exciting than being a mother or a father for the first time.
I am a thyroid issue sufferer and after I found out about this I was told by a dietician that with my thyroid in the state it was in, I would never have been able to fall pregnant. I am so glad they found the reason. Congrats to you, Alex ans Millie xxx

I know this is a long time coming, so glad that you started to get the help you needed, that extra step came just in time. The info about the thyroid is interesting. My wife and I tried for seven years. In the end, it was found she had a low level of a hormone. One shot and a leer and she was pregnant. Congratulations again. You two will do fine.
