I hate how everyone underestimates us. Many people think we are the worst team in the NFC. Our head coach is a goofy who don't know ball, Kyler is bad and on par with Daniel Jones and Marvin Harrison Jr is a wasted talent in the desert. Trey McBride is not even a top 15 Tight End, James Conner is not a good Back and our defense is garbage. I'm looking forward to when we shut up every loudmouth.
Most people believe the Cardinals should have a winning record, Kyler is a very good QB when healthy, Harrison Jr will be a great fit with Murray, Conner is a good all-around RB, and McBride will be a 5 TE. YOU are delusional 🤔
Probably more time then you have to spare on something, but I'd be really interested to see a deep dive into how Kyler works with tall WR vs short ones. It feels like nearly every tall WR they've brought in has thrived with Kyler tossing him the pigskin, every short WR, regardless of how accomplished in college or with other teams, has struggled, or at least seen a large drop off in targets. Andy Isabella, Rondale Moore, Christian Kirk, Greg Dortch, and Hollywood Brown are probably the most notables that immediately come to mind. Isabella looked great in a college but seemed invisible on the field with Kyler, same with Moore and Kirk. Kirk, once he got a different QB, suddenly is getting way more targets and looks much better. Dortch, by all metrics, is getting open constantly, yet almost never targetted, and Brown saw a notable downshift in his stats after coming to AZ compared to his time with the Ravens. In Brown's last year with the Ravens in 16 gmes he finished with over 1k yards recieving on 146 targets, in his last year with the Cardinals in 14 games he finished with 500 something yards receiving on 101 targets. Meanwhile, tall TEs have thrived with Kyler, getting lots of targets, and while 6'1'' Hopkins isn't exactly HUGE, he was easily the most successful WR pairing with Kyler. I know cardinals fans don't like to hear it, but is there actually a correlation here, does 5'10'' Kyler just not see shorter recievers as well? If so, then 6'3'' MHJ is likely an even better fit simply because Kyler will be able to see him over his linemen.
Kirk is the exception tho, look at his last yr with the cards he was off 1k by like 25 or so yards, he kept going up in yards and targets once kyler got there. But everyone else yeah, kyler being shorter I think plays a factor and plus all of those guys are speedsters not really known to be contested catchers, unlike dortch who’s criminally underrated on that team.
@@Jvnior_20 I'll grant you Kirk had more success with Kyler then the rest of that list, but in his second to last year he'd had just 621 yards on 79 targets in 14 games, and then his one "good" year, that 2021 year, he still had only 103 targets in 17 games and fell short of 1k yards, he leaves to the Jags and the very next year he goes over 1.1k on 133 targets. It's not as dramatic a difference as some of the others on the list, but its also worth noting Kyler and Kirk had been togetehr for Kylers entire career, lots of years to build chemistry, and yet Kirk immediately looked noticeably better with a brand new, taller, QB. It's not a GREAT example, but I do think it still follows the pattern. Kirk's also the tallest of the group, unless I'm mistaken, at 5'11'' so if its truly height thats the connecting factor, it would make some sense that a guy whose slightly taller then the rest, would be impacted slightly less then the rest.
@@DanTheMeek but you also gotta factor that he was behind hop and aj. With the jags he was the main target, and to only get 120ish more yards on 33 more receptions isn’t exactly better, I’d say it shows he did more with the chances he got with kyler then with Travis
Interesting point tbh, I feel lile it has more to do with talent than anything else though even if your trends FEEL accurate, Zach Ertz was not very good in Arizona just as another little outlier, and AJ green also wasn’t the best, Kyler is also really really good at throwing back shoulder and 50/50 balls which obviously benefit a taller WR more, maybe it has to do with Kyler’s height? But I feel like it’s more a skill set thing, of both Kyler himself and the WRs he’s worked with!
Do any of the Undrafted QBs have a chance?....Warner and Tony Romo were both undrafted. What about the UFL QBs...will any of them catch on with a NFL team.....even Practice Squad money would be better than the $40,000 the UFL pays.
Yeah a past their primes in Fitz and AJ Green… This just tells me you don’t watch any of the cardinals games.. DHop was decent but always hurt or suspended
Marvin Harrison Jr will win offensive Rookie of the Year with the Arizona Cardinals
the arizona cardinals will have a winning record in 2024
@@jacobwilliams2360If they can get some early wins the schedule is favorable
1300 and 9
@ 5:01 the ref running faster than the corner covering Harrison lol we need his 40 time 👀 👀
ref practically doing 3 yard strides lol

kyler needs to stay healthy bud
Nobody has said all that lol.

The Cardinals have a lot of potential this year!
I think MHJ fits all offenses.
Trent McBride 🤔😆
Good video

We went undefeated for a lil with d hop so I think we can pull some big thing off
Greg dortch could light it up if they would put him on the damn field.

Not sure why people think kyler going to be better with Marvin, kyler had D hop, Larry and AJ green before remember
He has a decent coaching staff now and a lot less toxic environment
all washed players besides dhop who is slow asf

This is a really dumb comparison 😂
Y’all sleeping on the cards lol
To bad Jordan Whittington is winning oroty
Who?
