I know this video is old but I came to say, I started the HCLF diet in 2017 I was 15 lbs overweight, in my mind it made complete sense that fat in my diet would make me fat so I have been HCLF for 6 years PLEASE DONT DO THIS ITS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! You NEED healthy fats and protein in your diet, I become extremely ill with heart issues and my leg went completely numb I don’t have 100% proof that HCLF is the cause, but I’ve recently introduced healthy fats back in my diet and my leg is getting stronger Please don’t be like me, talk to your doctor if you are thinking about diet changes and also please know you don’t need to lose weight to be beautiful, I know that now but this lesson has been a taught one Please take care of yourselves ❤
This!!!! Don’t attempt any diet without consulting a doctor. And in this case, they’ll probably tell you to avoid this insanity. I also did HCLF for years and I had acne, I gained weight, lost muscle and my hair started falling out. As soon as I ate more fat and protein (and no, I wasn’t under eating before, I was eating over 2000 calories everyday) I got better within weeks.

Are you not concerned that you break out again or have you already tested these foods and they are save for you? Or is it that occasional high fat foods just don't let you break out any more? When I only eat brown rice, and quinoa, a little bit of fruit, and a little bit of vegetables my acne starts improving. That isn't enough I'm always hungry. I found that beans and lentils are causing me to break out. So do dairy and Soy. Sweet potatoes I think are too sweet. All whole-grain pastas contain slices of soy. Also, oats always contain gluten because of stupid reasons. I'm considering adding a little bit of meat in my diet. Please give me advice or I will die from starving :D (I did Accutane twice, but that shit came back).
It sounds quite challenging but don’t get discouraged. You will have to do a lot of experimenting. Eventually you will figure out what works for you. The reason that oats contain gluten is from cross contamination. You can buy certified gluten free oats, but you have to look for them and read the labels. Potatoes are very filling. Try eating potatoes. Whole grain pastas do not contain soy but they may be processed in a factory where soy products are processed. You must be super sensitive if you react to that. Sounds like you will have to eat more frequent meals or bigger meals to keep yourself full. And it also sounds like you need to write down everything you eat and how your skin is doing and do quite a bit of experimenting. I hope that you will stay plant based. The animals suffer so much and plants are better for your health. Animal products also contain hormones- even organic - which come from the animals themselves. That can’t be good for your skin. Trial and error will eventually give you answers. Have you tried eating ground flax seeds or ground chia seeds? They have fat but they are very healthy. They will keep you fuller and they may not cause break outs. You will have to experiment but there is a solution.
It's all about the hormones. A vegan diet will change your hormones and not in a good way. I was plant based for 16 months and it wrecked my health. I had adrenal fatigue so bad and was tired all the time. I already had thyroid problems, Hashimoto's, and it got worse. Eat some meat, fish, eggs, butter and you will feel better. You are hungry because long term, veganism is starvation. If you believe in God, read 1 Timothy 4 KJV. It tells us to eat meat and gives thanks.
Can you educate baking soda and baking powder on our health I’ve been following your muffin recipes and this is so gooood Slightly worry about the baking powder stuff intake
