I have a Harbor Freight bender. I had no instructions. I finely started to learn how to use it after it sat in my garage for two years. I'm glad I did.
Clark mfg. also sells these benders (in cool orange). They have a much better instruction manual you can download. It finally started to make sense. Good luck.
I've had a bender for a year and never actually used it, it's just set up with dies on the racks. I've watched a video on how to but it was too broad, this short little video just explained something that I could have been taking advantage of all this time! thank you for the information
Great info video. I just wanted to say that little block with the hole in it you mention does have its importance. Depending on the way one sets the block your bend will be different. The hole in the block is offset just for that purpose.Just a thought..
just look up "lambs tongue rail". they're already made and very cheap. they have a nice tapper to them.2 inch weld, grind, done. if you must make it out of straight stock, heat it first before you bend it. it won't fight with you and will flow much better.
it's not done on a bender a lamb's tongue is made with a torch you use the rosebud to heat it up glowing red then you use pliers to manipulate the bend

Do you like the way you have the bender set up attached to the workbench? Would you do it differently after having used it for a while?
