TNT needs the NBA Finals. Seriously. I need this studio team doing the Finals for real, it's past due.
I agree but it Wont be possible. ABC/espn which are owned by disney bought the tv deal for it
@@CraZzy3n3rGy woooow, that's ridiculous
They do nba tv finals
For reals. Now of days you got these overzealous in your face women announcers messing up the whole vibe.
TNT honestly should do every marquee NBA playoff game. They're like Fox with the NFL, it's just better.
As soon as Chuck goes “…Shaq…” it’s a wrap 😂😂😂

Chuck said, "Put him on that diet I was on. If it taste good... spit it out." 😂😂😂😂
gold from Chuck "when you're having success, you don't know that you're flawed".
Gold from Chuck “ If it tastes good, spit it out”
Platinum from Kenny : “ Its hard to work hard when u sleeping in silk robes.”
@@samueljackson3920 That's a marvin hagler quote
you can tell chuck really being grateful, adores and respect Moses Malone for being the mentor for him early in his career.
"they got no food in Portland" - Chuck always pulls off the masterpiece 😂
The Screen Door is an amazing restaurant in Portland
@Drew chuck has never accomplished what??? Because he definitely has an MVP. Not a finals because they lost in the finals against the bulls. But he has an MVP
@@getbread33 Drew is a troll
Maybe Charles should be his Moses Malone and call him and help him instead of making fun of him.
@@leejackson423 he was joking but if watched the whole thing, he gave a real talk at the end. And how do we know who has and who hasn't tried to reach out
Classic Ernie trying to steer the ship while Chuck , Shaq and Kenny roast Zion LOL
Is it a roast if it's true
Chuck just makes it so much funnier, though. Just deadpan comments. He's right, though, and I can tell he isn't being mean-spirited. Like he said, he wants Zion to do well and wishes him well. I also like that he tells the Moses Malone story because he can relate Zion's struggles.
@@CamPerry being true is what makes it a roast.
Lol
" Help me out here Kenny!"
Chuck ranting
Kenny instigating
Shaq wheezing
Ernie "c'mon..."
When Ernie laughed at the beginning, it was a wrap. He tried to reel it in, but he couldn't.

What I love about that in this clip is what it says about Kenny's rapport with Ernie and Chuck. You'll often see Ernie and Kenny with their heads down while they or the control room determine if a joke is going too long or veering towards something or someone they don't want to run afoul of, and respond appropriately. And we often hear Kenny and Chuck mention how they were talking about something before the show even started.
So here, Kenny decides to let the joke continue, because they need to stay on this topic, because he and Chuck are about to share some tough love Zion NEEDS to hear.
You can tell Chuck literally sees himself in Zion and wants best for him. Hopefully Zion watches Inside the NBA on TNT on daily and hopefully Zion will reach out to the Vets for help (like Shaq said it’s gonna be up to Zion if he wants to change) he does have a lot of potential and people had him rookie of the year over Ja (who played way more games and had a bigger impact on their team). So clearly Zion can be great and possibly win a title (maybe) hope he gets the help he needs.
I swear if Charles and Zion could sit down and talk it might help and then get him a great trainer that will get him back in shape and on the right diet.
I hope now the young generation stops picking at the vets and Hall of Famers for being old, and get off my lawn types, lol. They’ve lived it and know what’s up. I can’t stop laughing off Shaq can’t stop laughing…😂😂
Inside the NBA doesn't come on every day bubba.
Up to Zion if he wants to change what?
Naw he comes off jealous too stop
Someone on Twitter said,
“food will be served alphabetically.”

It's going to be a sad day when Chuck retires. Sad to say won't think I'll be watching without him. He is the 💜 and soul of the show along with Ernie.
Agreed when he’s not there I don’t even watch
Enjoy him whiles he’s here
Barkley is the best personality on all of TV! So funny!
Man! Just enjoy the man (and everything else good in life) now and stop focusing on the inevitable moment when he leaves.
They know that too.
They tried to give ppl spin off shows but only Jalen manged go keep it going.
Next gen of TV is going to be soulless.
Zion was on a Man vs Food type of vibe in every city he played in.
He's "brave" and "beautiful"- women's mentality
These guys have me dying in the first 2 min! Pure gold together
Love it

Noup, starts to become annoying for me, never ever paying attention. Why even show the highlights ever.. just don't do it, let them fool around for 20 min, then show highlights ect.
I been having a bad week but these guys lifted my spirits. I hope all four of these guys live as long as Betty White

Thanks y'all, I'm doing much better now. GUAARAAANTEEED
Shaq is right with this one. Personal accountability is always key for growth.
But chuck also right, its hard to held yourself accountable especially when you are succeed or doing great
@@egaprawoto6782 Makes it worse when no one around you will tell you the truth to. Like they were saying people around him could very well be reinforcing all of those bad habits. It is a key time for him going from teens to mid twenties is the time when you can bulk up on a lot of muscle and stuff
Zion has never been held accountable ever in his life and has gotten away with anything he wished. Clearly that path isn’t working for him.
When that happens, external help can and should step in. Zion has to have a figure he respects and can tell him off. Zion ain’t telling himself anything.
you have to want it for no other reason than for yourself
Chuck is right though, when you’re on top, everyone wants to be with you, no one will tell you your flaws and stuff. Someone has to be that villain to tell zion to change
I know Chuck takes awhile to gather his thoughts and project them but allow him to get it out because he gives sound advice at times and makes good points especially regarding Zion. I do believe Zion needs to control his weight as he loves to fly but coming down too hard or heavily can be dangerous.
Chuck had problems with his weight also when he was in the nba 2

The second chuck said “they sent him to Portland” I knew he was getting ready to have Shaq in 😭
Thank God they did not send him to San Antonio. I lived there for 18 months, and the eating in San Antonio is good. Better than in New Orleans.
@@thespadestable Well that explains those big ole women of San Antonio.
@@dsfddsgh -
Shaq step-father was once stationed in San Antonio, and Shaq graduated high school there. So when Charles brings up San Antonio, he gets the biggest laughs from Shaq, because he knows what he says is true.
Those women can get big in ol' San Anton!

Yup - grew up watching chuck and I just literally listen and they sound like good friends…funny and they just make me happy.
Love when the OG crew are together. Hard dirty donuts!!!
Jokic and Kyle Lowry are two great examples of players who dropped that weight and went to another level. It is time for Zion to put in that work.
Most people forgot that Udonis Haslem was another player who was overweight at one point.
When I need a good laugh, the kind that makes your stomach hurt and you can’t breathe, I come back to this. 😂😂😂

Chuck is the best... " If it taste good, spit it out! "
Classic!
Gotta be one of the best moments of the year 😂😂😂😂
This clip is the perfect example of why Inside the NBA is the greatest sports talk show of all time. The hilarity, the succinct yet incredibly insightful basketball analysis, each panelist drawing from their own career to paint a picture that we the audience can both understand and relate to, and at the center of it all Ernie Johnson being the fantastic traffic cop that he is. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Inside puts every single NBA talk show to shame
Forget about just NBA talk show...it puts every type of talk show on TV shame..period.
Charles Barkley sees himself in Zion and is really pulling for Zion to be successful.

Ernie trying to do his job but even he got involved and was laughing too. 🤣
i love how ernie started choking at the beginning after chuck told his joke
Poor EJ, looks like a dad who just wants a quiet dinner but his kids keep messing with each other at the table.
Shaq is killing me! Got me in tears at work.
if Shaq is cracking up then I'm always laughing. Impossible not to. This show more entertainjng than the NBA games. And I'm sorry, if Chuck leaves, I ain't watching anymore.

We need this conversation made up like the cartoon they used to do 😂😂
Charles needs to call games or at least be a guest commentator. He’s pure gold as a person and as tv personality
Call games for the bulls with Stacy King
I love how this started out as a funny moment but then turned into a very nice discussion about weight, mentorship, and responsibility. The inside guys always know 😌

"if it tastes good, spit it out" boy that one had me laughing hard
Ernie trying to talk over them is great😂😂 you can hear him getting irritated in his voice but he still laughing
Nah not irritated 🤣 he just tryna be professional he's dying on the inside
Shaq and Chuck are the kids that get you in trouble in the lunch room!!
Exactly what Shaq said. This is your job and career at the end of the day. Dont matter what you think you're accomplishing, you need to take care of that your body and make sure you keep on securing that bag
Chuck also had the incentive that , as he told himself, the lower he got in weight , the more playing time he got. That should be a good enough punishment for zion to get down but front office wont allow that process.
Its not as easy as that. They need to pin down the psychology of Zion. Treatment that affected Chuck to change might not dent Zion, everyone can have a take but unless we know him personally we don't know what has been tried and what would work.
Zion got a 4 year / $44M guaranteed contract from being the #1 pick. He's already pretty much setup for life with just that. If he doesn't wanna be the next Lebron, he doesn't have to be.
@@kaydee1485 The man averaged 33.2 MPG last season, clearly the Pels haven’t orchestrated the idea of playing time being based on controlling your weight.
Chuck should win a comedy award, he comes up with some of the funniest 💩 on any given night
Totally unscripted and quick rapid fire responses lol
Chuck: "beignettes in new orleans are just hard dirty donuts." 🤣🤣🤣
Chuck is so right about having veterans to lead on a team…makes me glad to know Iggy , Dray , Steph and klay are there for our young bench.

@@TL2354 don't try to correct someone with the wrong word, when they were right.
Zion does seem like a good guy, I hope he gets his health figured out. Imagine how quick he would be if he lost 60lbs... he would be insane.
That’s what I was talking about today
@@KimberlyFrancis234 Sadly he is injured again, human tissue can't handle the forces that dude applies. Teammates say the floor flexes under him when he jumps. Insane. Hopefully he can drop some weight, get a bit lighter, and do some body work to fix it. You can see how he just walks down the court that he needs body mechanics help. Like Curry turned around his career from constant ankle injuries by changing his workout focus.

It's still relevant though
That's cause he's grateful
He respects him that's why and it's definitely relevant.
It's a story worth repeating that's why. Also, that part where most persons around the limelight are enablers is pretty on point.

I really hope zion can turn his career thus far around. All of inside panel had great points & great advice on what he needs to do. Like Shaq said though he just needs to put in the work himself
Not everyone is a Kobe, who can will their body to do what they want. Even Shaq couldn't take on his own advice. Chuck neither People like Zion probably need help from the 'outside' he probably can't self-motivate in that area, so the right person needs to push the right buttons.
@@kaydee1485 at the end of the day, the work has to come from him. maybe he gets told by a certified vet that he needs to drop some weight and it still doesn’t register. he is the one that solely controls his future & if he wants it bad enough he will put in the work
@@BrianJitsu im not saying he wont have to live with the consequences, I'm just noting that changing an aspect of your life is not always straightforward, like this comment section is making it out to be. And a large percentage of those talking won't/don't even follow their own advice.
