This is embarrassing but i got way too close with a married man, and this song is a good reminder of the importance of backing away from this situation.
Quote from Wikipedia: "While the band avoid the stigma of being labeled a "Christian band," the members are all Christian, exploring a wide variety of lyrical themes in their music.[citation needed] The band sound varies between post-hardcore,[1] melodic hardcore,[2] emo,[1][3] hard rock,[4] alternative rock,[5] and most recently metalcore.[20]"
Not necessarily. The lyrics don't sound like gospel music, but they have discreet however clever references. For example the end to Crumbling, or in Daddy's Little Peach, "These late nights are getting old. There are better ways to your knees." Is this not a reference to praying? Yes, they don't first come off as Christian, but that's what I like about them. They're canny enough to disguise Christian lyrics in songs that will appear attractive to legitimately anyone of any belief.
I mean no disrespect to you, however, if all you are going to do is disrespect peoples right to their own decisions and choices and beliefs...Why are you here? From what I've observed no one insulted you, so how can you justify your derogatory statements? You have a right to your beliefs and other people do too. That doesn't mean you can insult people whose beliefs don't line up with yours. Again I mean no disrespect to your beliefs. I just hope you learn to do the same Have a good day
Their Christian, just because the don't make notice of God doesn't mean they arnt Godly. You got to interpret the lyrics that they so crafted cleverly. And just because a bands Christian doesn't mean they rock. Listen to Relient k the have are an alternate band and their awsome and they even say God in their lyrics and their tons of atheist that listen to them and are aware of Relient k's references to God but they don't care. Music can go so far, farther then words or actions.
Why are you looking up a Christian bands video then? And by your statement "no gods no masters" I get the impression you dont really understand Christianity at all.
Christian music doesn't have to be Gospel. Trust me, if it was Gospel I wouldn't listen either. As much as I care about religion, Gospel music can annoy the hell out of me. It's too happy. Life isn't that happy. All the same, you can't deny Emery's a Christian band with Christian parts. Take a listen to the end of Fix Me. Not Gospel, no, but definitely Christian.
After all these years it’s still one of my absolute favorites from the band.
This song gives me chills all through my body , UGH Love emery
Kristie Collier i love you too

I love this song! I like how layered it is. It makes it stand out from other songs. I've had it on repeat the last week.

This band has definite Christian references in some songs but their not a worship band.
Citation Needed eh?
I'm going to stop reading comments for any controversial band dealing with religious beliefs.
Because i have the right to an opinion.
