    100% honesty in one video , brilliant ! Considering the part where you were undecided about Norwegian , life is like a lot of train tracks all crossing each other. Something somewhere influences the points and you can be sent off in a totally different direction from what you anticipated. Life is like that and we must embrace it, not fight it.

    • @linguaEpassione
      @linguaEpassione  4 роки тому +2

      Hey Vali, thank you for your comment! You need a lot of consistence and patience to get over the intermediate plateau, but reading and listening to material that is directed to native speakers is probably the best way to enrich your vocabulary as you rightly said, provided that you do something to keep the new vocabulary fresh in your memory by either using a SRS tool or by trying to actively use it in your conversations. Hope this helps (a full video on the topic is coming up probably at the beginning of next year by the way ;D )

    • @linguaEpassione
      @linguaEpassione  3 роки тому

      Ciao Cecilia, first of all congrats on starting a language project! Your question is a bit too generic for me to answer effectively, but one thing many people get wrong is often to use too many resources right from the start. Try focusing on only a few: one textbook for written dialogues (with audio of course!!!), one podcast to listen to while doing other stuff, one or two YT channels to watch a video every now and then. That's it! Build your foundations and only later expand on the resources :)

    Ciao Stefano, non vorrei guastare la festa ma bisognerebbe parlare anche delle lingue e dialetti che si dimenticano. Radicalmente. Ne vanto tre ed e' per me una vera perdita. La prima mi e' mancata 7 anni, la seconda a 22, la terza a 52. C'e' un antidoto?

    • @linguaEpassione
      @linguaEpassione  4 роки тому +1

      Ciao Paolo, nel senso di dialetti o lingue dimenticati? È un fenomeno che tocca anche me direttamente, visto che io sono l'anello debole della catena del milanese nella mia famiglia. La mia generazione è quella che lo capisce ma non lo parla, e quindi non lo passerà a quelle successive. Una perdita, senz'altro. D'altra parte sono centinaia e centinaia le lingue che stanno lentamente morendo in tutto il mondo. Molti si stanno adoperando per mantenerle vive o almeno conservarne la memoria, ma la maggior parte degli esperti è certa che siano destinate a scomparire per sempre.

    Tuleeko sinulle koskaan hetkiä, jolloin käännät fraasin tai idiomin sanasta sanaan jostain toisesta kielestä, kun puhut jotain muuta vierasta kieltä? Esimerkiksi niin, että sanoisit paistinpannulta tuleen kun taas suomalainen sanoisi ojasta allikkoon, tai vastaavaa? Tuli vaan mieleen, kun joskus sanonnat eivät ole natiivipuhujallekaan itsestäänselviä merkitykseltään ja niiden merkitys on vain opittu ulkoa.
    I suppose I'll try to be bilingual myself.. to a degree. I was asking if Stefano ever directly translates a phrase or a saying from one language to another, when the language he's speaking at the moment would have a different saying for the same meaning. (I'm fascinated by his ability to speak so many languages fluently.) For example, Finnish has the saying "tehdä kärpäsestä härkänen" (to make an ox out of a fly), an English speaker would say "to make a mountain out of a molehill).

    • @linguaEpassione
      @linguaEpassione  4 роки тому

      Morjens! Tosi hyvä kysymys, kiitos - Semmosia hetkiä kyllä tulee, mutta tavallisesti mä yritän väistää sen, että sanon vaan fraasin suoraan, vaan ensi kysyn että onko teillä (vaikka suomeksi tai millä muulla kielellä tahansa) myös tällainen idiomi kuin esim. italiaksi "xyz"? Tämä on kuitenkin aina todella mielenkiintoinen aihe =)

      @@linguaEpassione Parea mea nu are legatura cu lingvistica si poate parea banala dar are logica! Toate tarile care dubleaza filmele in televiziune ingradesc (in special copiilor )contactul cu o limba noua .Tinand cont ca limbile latine ,germanice si engleza au foarte multe cuvinte asemanatoare intre ele (sau aceeasi radacina semantica) majoritatea copiilor sau adultilor italieni pornesc cu un handicap in invatarea unei limbi straine.De exemplu copiii din ungaria, pana la adolescenta, majoritatea dintre ei cred ca toate filmele sunt unguresti (nu e gluma).La unguri ,de exemplu ,jean paul bellmondo e ianos poli sep villag iar copiii il asociaza cu unul de al lor.( alt efect al dublarii filmelor).Am vazut si eu stan si bran dublat in italiana, o bataie de joc din toate punctele de vedere! Farmecul unui personaj e alcatuit si din timbrul vocal si limba proprie! Unde este logica punctului meu de vedere? Doar doua exemple: Eu am invatat limba italiana de pe italia 1 si canale5, cantareate INNA vorbeste(si canta) spaniola pe care a invatato din serialele spaniole difuzate in romania.Concluzia: foarte multi romani care vorbesc limbi straine au avut ca punct de plecare(implicit un avantaj) si filmele vizionate in engleza,franceza, spaniola......majoritatea italienilor in schimb nu au beneficiat si de aceasta ,,facilitate''!
