    I like the random numbering convention. It was fun!

    Thanks for running this video. I never get "Tired" of talking about tires. Jimmy touched on replacing his tires, but I would love to hear more about EV tires compared to LT tires. There aren't any "EV" tires available that I can find for our trucks. What's the deal with Rivian not recommending alternative tires. Is it simply because they have an arrangement with Pirelli or is there a safety element to it. I purchased an all-season Michelin Defender LTX Ms and am thrilled on how they ride. Quiet, tracks and corners beautifully, great in wet weather as well. Haven't tried them in snow or off road, but I have my set of Scorpions for that. I think the important qualities an after market tire should have are;
    1. Weight of tire. The Pirellis Scorpions weigh about 48 lbs. Added weight of tires will decrease range
    Two. Load rating. 3400lbs seems about right.
    III. Tread ware. 50,000 miles minimum
    Quatro. Ratings of tire from someplace like Tire Rack is helpful. My Michelin Defender LTX Ms rated very well in all categories on TireRack
    Cinq. LRR is important. Again the Defenders are "green" and elude to the fact they are LRR in only 275/65R 20
    Sei. It would be great if you can do follow up video (with sound) that talks about the choices we can make in our next set of tires.

    I appreciate this info. I wasn't going to include my full size spare at first.

    Great video as usual. I may of missed it, yet in case, is good to remember that when the manufacturer state cold. It is a reference to what it is around 60°F. Which mean if you are in Florida at 90°F weather 50psi to 51psi would be more like it. Thanks for all the videos and keep it up. 🙏🙏👍

    Rivian service center just told me rotate the 20" AT tires every 5,000 miles. Also to avoid too much Conserve mode to keep from wearing the front ones more. I'm getting quite a bit of feathering on my tires after less than 5K already.

    My Rivian contact just suggested rotation on a 5000 mile schedule.

    Does anyone know when Rivian will switch to 2024 model year? Are there any changes for the new model year?

    34,000 miles on original set. Loud as all get out and can’t wait for a quiet new set. Hence why I’m here to read what models other are replacing with. Rotated every 10k but was probably too long.

    I've been doing my Tire rotation after 7500, no clue what the manual says, and I have great wear thus far. I just passed the ONE year of ownership and have 21,055 miles. If you own one and don't drive it, just why?

    I thought the conserve mode will switch your drive to front wheels only and that will wear the front tires out faster than the back because whenever you accelerate, the friction against the drive tires will always be higher than the passive tires.

      Sure, BUT that’s what a rotation can fix if you only ride in Conserve. What a rotation can’t fix is uneven tire wear due to negative camber from driving around in Low or Lowest.

      Well, you're not exactly roasting the front tires every time you accelerate in conserve mode...

    Helpful stuff. I ditched using Conserve mode shortly after getting my truck, primarily because of the speculation on uneven tire wear. At ~ $65/1000 miles with my home utility rates (much less in reality with my solar), even shaving off a few percent would be meaningless compared to how much more it would cost to replace tires sooner. I would be interested to see someone attempt even napkin math on how much of a difference a 5 tire rotation really makes in replacement costs too. I'm not convinced the longer life would offset the price of replacing 5 tires vs replacing 4 slightly more often. I'm over 11k miles and no rotations. Been meaning to buy a tire depth gauge for months, but I do eyeball the tires regularly looking out for any obvious uneven wear. So far the eyeball test on my truck looks pretty uniform. 95% of the time I'm in All Purpose Auto. The other 5% offroad. Based on the camber discussion and knowing the next to meaningless efficiency difference of the ride heights, I'll probably ditch the Auto. And, yeah, I agree, the truck in high or highest is way cooler visually.

    9,000 miles is way to long on high wear tires. Also, 5 tire rotation maybe makes sense if your not keeping it long term, otherwise makes no sense
