Hobby Boss 1/35 PUMA AEV In Box Review and Sprue Tour

In this video I take a look at the Hobby Boss 1/35 IDF PUMA AEV ( Armoured Engineers Vehicle). I look through the sprues and discuss the quality and detail of the kit as well as my expectations as to the build of this kit. Definitely not a kit for a beginner but an excellent kit for anyone interested in an up to date tooling of a modern IDF combat engineers vehicle.

This is a great kit from HobbyBoss. However, a fair amount of time will have to be invested in tidying up parts and dealing with fit issues. I finished the construction phase on mine last week after many weeks work! Mojo sapping?, yes! I shall have a rest for a week, them move onto my favourite part of modelling which is airbrushing. I hope you enjoy building this beast of a kit.👍😎

I quite agree Jon, I’ve built mine with scratch building the hydraulic and power lines for the rear rocket launcher, a mammoth build but worth all the effort👍 thanks for you comment😁

Thanks Ian for the review, HB kits aren't the easiest to build but well worth the effort. Are you an engineer yourself that makes you buy all these engineering vehicles? You should build anything you feel like building although I am interested in the fighter that came in the box the elephant stepped on ;-) That is such a beauty. Hi Joffrey, your spot on about building HB kits, fiddly and time consuming but well worth the effort. I’m not am engineer I just like heavy military plant it’s much more interesting than a standard MBT. I will be tackling the F-18 but in a couple of months once I’ve finished my current builds. Take it easy and stay safe👍
