I don’t know if you watch The Chosen, but Season 4, episode 8 shows this scene. It also shows that the Passover lambs, once selected, their feet were anointed to set them apart before they were brought into the house for 6 days until they were sacrificed…so that’s the other reason Jesus said she had anointed him for burial.

I'm surprised you said you never picked up on that (the perfume was for "the tomb") Matt 26:12 says explicitly "For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial." But, we all have things we miss, so I understand. :) And yes, I love all Michael Card's songs (some more than others but most unreservedly.
