I actually kinda fuck with it it's like a little sweeter then Jameson and goes down easier. Really good with just one ice cube in a glass or as a mixer I bet but I just drink it straight. Has a good vanilla-honey kinda taste.
It’s not that bad to me and I’ve had a lot of higher end whiskeys. It’s nothing amazing but it’s better than alot of things I’ve had for my specific pallet.

As a young amateur drinker, I find this whiskey easy to drink, I didn’t think I liked whiskey because of the strong distinct taste, but I found this had little resemblance to crown or jack. Spicy on the tongue and doesn’t burn on the way down. Overall i think it’s pretty good, but not gonna be a favorite
I love the whiskey. I have it at home and make an Old Fashioned with it. I can't find it anywhere in my area, so I have to stick with Jameson or Elijah Craig, Templeton or Monkey Shoulder.
I like this actually. I used to shoot so much Jamo I got tired of it and it's just harsh to me now. This is goes down easy and I like the flavor. My brother in law made me a lemonade and Proper 12 and is was good, scary drink cause you can't even taste the whiskey in it. To each his own though.
I agree so much. It's timid, boring and frankly, pretty crappy overall. I'll deviate from you just a tiny, tiny bit and say that Jameson is multitudes more complex than this shite. haha... I also find offense that their name, "Proper Twelve" (Yes, I know what it refers to...) is intentionally deceptive in a way that is designed to fool the casual consumer into thinking it's a 12-year. Time and time again I see people posting about this as their new "12 year old whiskey".... not an accidental occurrence from their marketing department.
Only had a sample of this but remember that metal, nail polish note and was disappointed. I am waiting for them to be forced into changing the name due to apparently the name is "misleading" with the 12 but it is not that aged. Nice one Gorge, cheers.

No, Ireland has postal districts and Crumlin falls under the 12 district. Hence the reason for the numbers. :)
