Long and Noisy Westinghouse Escalator (Up) PeachTree Center Marta Station Atlanta, Ga

Riding up the longest escalator in Georgia. This is the deepest subway station in the city of Atlanta. This is one of the sets, there are several sets. This is the one that goes directly into PeachTree Center.

These Escalators seems to have more than one Motor because it’s so loud all through well not to bad at the Bottom but the rest of the way it’s so LOUD!!!

Reminds me of Lawrence subway station in Toronto, it is the deepest station on the TTC Network and has really long escalators. The Bus terminal is actually underground and the depth of many of the downtown 50's stations while the subway station is much deeper below the bus station.

Apparently it sounds like Fire alarm.
I saw a mechanical room of a subway escalators, I think it's loud because the motor is the motor of a normal escalator at malls, subway escalators need to have 1 mechanical room, as in 1 giant motor per escalator, that small motor is so loud considering how heavy and humongously long the escalators in subways are

These are quite massive there is one like this in DC that is also very loud like this. These must be harder to maintain with the amount of steps. I imagine the motor being much much bigger.

Westing house escalators are so loud, not to mention the way they also keep breaking down.
