Cloud is back in midgar after everything doing delivery jobs similar to AC when he sees a glimpse of pink. Music starts to play as he chases after it to find nothing and then turns around. He says Aerith and then the screen goes black with the credits rolling. An open ending I could see them pulling on us.

I really hope Cloud and Aerith reunited in Part 3, everybody knows that even the dev teams of FF7 that Clerith is Canon, period. From the lyrics i guess they will meet each other "on our street" (where they first met) and "in a chance that we'll share a glance". I am being hopeful here that, .Aerith is alive after the planet is saved, and that Cloud and Aerith meet "on our street" probably a dream or in real life. Then Cloud will go to "their place" the flower bed at the church where Aerith waited for him. That will be the best ending of the FF7 series
