Love these skinny bike´s....real choppers, hard to handle but really beautifull. Had one myself in the 80ties, not this extreem but non the less......loved to ride it, took it from holland to Sweden and back agian on holiday´s.......jesus suddenly realised that I´m gettin old........
That is one truly amazing motorcycle . But as someone who's got used to more traditional bikes the foot clutch made me sweat at traffic junctions ! . Keep up the good work buddy.
open primary kick start only hard tail with a jockey shift. my kinda dude, old school biker. but trust me brother it really takes a toll on ya after some years. I wish I could still ride that style scooter for more than a half an hour.
Damn that was a scary ride with those handlebars and I’ve been riding all my life LOL I got into that. I thought I was on the back damn now I got to take me a nap.
That is one beautiful machine! Nice riding video and thanks for sharing it. (My bike was about that long back in 1976/77 and sometimes I wish it still was.) ;)
hi there, that was a really sweet ride on a really sweet ride. feckin amazing bike, love it lots. it's really stable with those long forks, just awesomely awesome. lol 😁 👍 👍 👍 👍
Hi there, i enjoyed that way more than i thought I would, but i still can't have the bunny ears handlebars, gimme apes any day. Beautiful bike man, love the paint scheme and seat. I really love this video, cant stop watching it. Awesome video. 😎👍👍
This is amazing! Would you mind sharing the details on what length the springer is, the geometry of the frame, rake and trail? I want the same stance for my ironhead but not sure how to get it to look the part and still handle well
The springer is 50.5 inches from axle to upper neck bearing. I guess its like +28. Frame 6 inches up and 2 forward with 53 deg rake. Springer has 5 deg rake and 6 inches rockers. Trail is 3 inches. Upper neck bearing is 43 inches from the ground. Wheels 19 and 21 inches. That is pretty much the spec. Bike is incredibly easy to handle even with those narrow bars.
I crashed my bike the other day. My right handle bar bent in a bit and it is hard to ride it. How do you ride in slow with those bars? Anyway I like your gloves, I can't find those locally in my country. It's hard to find pure leather gloves here.
It's just a basic Go-Pro. Holder is mounted on helmet with double sided tape. No shock absortion. Camera goes crazy when it's mounted on the frame: ua-cam.com/video/5uyzckmRw58/v-deo.html
This shovel is so nice !!! love it !!! PURE 70" chopper !!! like the foot controls , the springer ,the oil bag and wheels are so cool !!where did you find them ? I'm looking for invaders for my rigid 67FL but these wheels are even better !!gretting from Brittany France
Thanks Earlystroker!! I didn't really buy anything. It's all garage build stuff. Go to my picture site at rezi.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Shovel+Chopper and see a lots of pictures of the building process.
The only dangerous thing is no front brake. Turning radius is still better than any car. The clutch is a heel toe rocker that stays disengaged until you use your heel to rock it back. More like a real beautiful fun machine. Notice how smoothly and effortless it is to ride. It is not an unstable wobble machine. The rake and trail geometry have been properly addressed in this build. A rolling creation. You must be a dedicated, skilled and mature rider, yes. But just watch the vid, it sure does not look like he is tempting death in traffic to me. Lastly, any 150MPH crotch rocket sport bike is way more of a death trap. This bike is tame and safe by comparison.
Only change I would make is to try a single row 530 O ring chain on the primary and install a simple flat chrome oil sling guard over it that curves over the top of the motor sprocket and clutch drum...just to keep primary chain oil from fanning everything on that side with oil.
HUGO FUGUSEV You are right. Oil keeps flying around. I had a protective piece of stainless steel but it broke down due the vibration in couple of weeks. So I removed it. I should make a new one
Man idk how you guys do it, I rode my scooter with no front break and hellz no, it wasn't going to work out, I think I made it around the block and came right back home😎😂
Farrrrr Out Man...Hey Man that's a cherry ride Brother watch out for the fuzz and ya need a skinny ass blonde on the back with Dolly Parton head lights..Keep on Jammin
Do foot clutch wear out clutches or cables..I've ridden one my uncle loaned me but only for like a year until I built my own so I'm thinking on building a personal bike in my shop and want foot clutch.
NOW THAT'S SOME OLD SKOOL SHOVELHEAD THERE ONE HELL OF A LONG RAKE.I HAD A 77 SHOVELHEAD CHOPPER UNTIL A NEGLIGENT DRIVER DROVE DIRECTLY INTO MY LEG. 85% AMPUTATION UPON CONTACT WITH HIS BUMPER TO MY SHOVELHEAD MOTOR. IT WAS A GREAT BIKE! I STARTED A NON-PROFIT AFTER TWO NEAR-DEATH ACCIDENTS WITH TWO NEGLIGENT ELDERLY DRIVERS...BAND USA GO TO MY WEBSITES BIKERSFORSAFETY.ORG AND DONTEXTANDDRIVE.COM/BANDNONPROFITGROUPS.ORG

Beautiful bike man, love the paint scheme and seat. I really love this video, cant stop watching it. Awesome video. 😎👍👍
Mikey mike Long enough bunny bars are very comfortable. Mine should be a couple of inches longer to be perfect. I will expand them one day.

Looks like Helsinki in Finland - The Scandinavian capital of motorcycles
Nice. I kept thinking’”Hope no car or animal makes this guy have to swerve or stop real quick.” Still, love that low rev kind of cruising.
Yes Rezi! :]

Rezi, what is that camera setup you use? That's more than just a go-pro, is it not? Seems very balanced and like it's got shock absorption?

Rezi - even by just watching it i know it's a fun bike to ride hope you take a good care of it :)
I like hippie style!
ITS NOT A HIPPIE BIKE.HIPPIE,S DID NOT RIDE.
Chris Renek calm down there buddy boy
Chris Renek My thoughts too. I guess he's mainly referring to the paint and seat and the theme? Still a sick bike.
rezi bad ass looks almost just like my 1972 Harley Davidson 900 sportster chopper 7 foot springer front end is your front end 7 foot?
Not quite that long. It's like 5 foot long fork
This shovel is so nice !!! love it !!! PURE 70" chopper !!! like the foot controls , the springer ,the oil bag and wheels are so cool !!where did you find them ? I'm looking for invaders for my rigid 67FL but these wheels are even better !!gretting from Brittany France

@@hyperluminalreality1 🤔 good reporting, especially on the clutch. No front brake is kinda’ freaky but he is a good rider.

Fucking ass, that is one awesome bike, if you built it yourself, then i gotta say you got talent brother...keep building and keep riding...👍👍👍
if that's a heavy bike he sure is lucky I want one I want one
Did you see that one hand throttle control wow
FUCK yes
those bars are sketchy af
ben dover awesome*
I have similar bars and they are my all-time favorite. They handle so well once you get used to them.
Gostaria muito de poder fazer uma bike nesse estilo, mais precisaria das medidas.ok!
Do foot clutch wear out clutches or cables..I've ridden one my uncle loaned me but only for like a year until I built my own so I'm thinking on building a personal bike in my shop and want foot clutch.
Bruce Kirk Foot clutch doesn’t eat clutches and there’s no cables. I have locking type of clutch not suicide so it’s safe and comfortable.
I'm running rabbit ear bars but it ain't working for me. I gotta go back to apes to get leverage. That's a sweet sled

Pascal Maupouet I build my choppers by myself. Make it long it can’t go wrong😊
