BC45 (BEVEL CUT 45)
new miter cutter for slabs and tiles
BC45 is designed to make 45° cuts (bevels/miter cut) on slabs and tiles. It works leaning on the side of the slab, so its use is simple and fast, guaranteeing at the same time a precise work execution. This is also possible thanks to the smart design of the handles, designed to offer the ideal grip at any time during the cutting phase and therefore to constantly exercise the necessary pressure. BC45 can work on slabs and tiles without length limits. BC45 is compatible with the most common brands and models of angle grinders thanks to the 14MA (or 5/8 ”) arbor attachment. It is designed for both dry (with dust aspirator) and water (with water cooling kit) use. BC45 is supplied with a Ø 115 mm “Cross-Turbo” disc, suitable for working on materials up to 16 mm thick. Discs with up to 125 mm diameter can be mounted, with whom BC45 can work on material with a maximum thickness of 20 mm. Supplied without angle grinder.

BC45 nasce per eseguire smussi a 45° (jolly) su grandi lastre e piastrelle. Lavorando in appoggio sul lato della lastra, il suo utilizzo risulta semplice e rapido garantendo al contempo una precisa esecuzione del lavoro. Questo anche grazie al particolare design delle impugnature, studiate per offrire la presa ideale in qualsiasi momento del taglio e dunque per esercitare costantemente la pressione necessaria.
BC45 può lavorare su lastre e piastrelle senza limiti di lunghezza. BC45 è compatibile con le più diffuse marche e modelli di smerigliatrice angolare grazie al mandrino con attacco 14MA (o 5/8”).
È predisposto sia per utilizzo a secco (con aspiratore di polveri) che ad acqua (con kit raffreddamento ad acqua). BC45 viene fornito corredato di disco Ø 115 mm “Cross-Turbo” ideale per lavorare su gres porcellanato di spessore fino a 16 mm. Accetta dischi di Ø fino a 125 mm con i quali può lavorare piastrelle di spessore massimo 20 mm. Viene fornito senza smerigliatrice angolare.

I tried it , it doesn't work. The problem is the blade that bends when it is hot. Using water is even worst because you lose the control of the machine.
Hello, thanks a lot for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear you’re having issues using our product.
For obvious reasons, the design all of our products is severely tested before deciding to start production and sales. BC45 is no exception.
Therefore, we can assure that BC45 proved to be an effective and reliable tool. We did test it on multiple porcelain tiles and slabs.
So far, also the feedback from many professionals had been positive.
We however perfectly understand that this doesn’t solve your problem, which from what you said looks like it comes from the diamond disc.
Being the BC45 a manual tool, it is fundamental that the speed of cut is proportionated to the hardness of the tile you cut. We all know that not all porcelain tiles are the same. If disc is too much stressed (speed of cut too fast) it gets too hot and consequently it bends. If it bends a proper 45° miter-cut can’t be achieved.
Furthermore, it is important having the diamond disc in good conditions.
About the use of the BC45 with water (which for sure helps a lot to cool the disc down and therefore obtaining better performances and results - not to mention the fact you don’t breathe dust) it also has been tested with positive results. Therefore we would be very interested in better understanding what is creating you problems.

I completely disagree. THIS TOOL WORKS GREAT! How do you lose control of the machine while using water? Makes zero sense.
Using water keeps the dust down, blade cool and a smoother cut. Its a great tool to use for your 45 degree cuts. Raimondi is the best!!
@@casedonn6213 I respect you personal opinion. Many tilers that I know don't like this machine either. I'm sure that Raimondi will improve it soon. Raimondi overall is a good company.
I've used this machine for some time now, and it works great. I don't understand your statement that 'using water makes you lose control of the machine', is precisely the water what keeps the blade cooled down and prevents it from overheating and potentially bending.
You most likely have been using dull or low quality and eventually too thin grinder blade or were pushing it with too much force to speed up the process (which unfortunately is quite slow in comparison to some track saw with larger blade diameter)
