The "Mexican comments" episode is where they got in enough trouble to actually acknowledge it and do something funny with it, like sending the Hamster to Mexico to test a car and for each of them to essentially explain their comments from that show. Gave them enough material to last a few episodes.

By the way we say "petrol head" in England, and tbh there's no one way of saying petrol head across Europe cos each country says its own thing in its own langauge. Great reaction though, I love you Canadians, see yous in June :)

I'm pretty sure Clarkson and I would agree... You punch your colleague, you're out. But just for the record...top gear was the most watched television show in the world regardless of genre or region. That trio have got something very special.

Then the whole Clarkson punching a producer fiasco happened and it got him fired. Top Gear is currently in its 31st season but with 3 different other people who try so hard to be like the original 3, it has its moments but its not the same.
No mention of the Grand Tour ? You know, roughly the same program with the same three guys which by pure coincidence *cough* has the letters GT, which is the inverse of TG (top gear). (Not to mention Clarkson's Farm, which is not only good to watch but actually gives good insight into farming while being entertaining)
this august a McLaren F1 sold at Pebble beach for $ 20.5 million. As Jay Leno has one of those as well, I assume that is the most expensive car in his collection.
There is a story knocking around of when Jeremy Clarkson, first met the stunningly beautiful Super Model Kate Moss at a party. Jeremy saw her chatting to one of his friends so he went over to introduce himself to her. So as the story goes, Jezza walks up to Kate Moss and says” Hi, I’m Jeremy and I do Top Gear”, on hearing this Kate goes a little quiet, looks around and quietly says “I don’t do drugs anymore, sorry”and walks away.
As Jeremy Clarkson said at the start of his new show The Grand Tour. "Now we're on the internet I can say and do what I like. I can pleasure a horse". 😅
The only one to make me cringe a bit was the Mexican comments. Other than that I thought they toed the line perfectly. Interesting how his American comments didn't get so much of a smile out of you

My dream car is a 1968 Mustang fastback in Hyland Green colour…three guesses on why there! 🤘 Yes someone already mentioned it but the term you’re searching for is “petrol head”. In The Netherlands the old ‘Top Gear’ was really popular. Once a Dutch Tv program was In England and visiting the Top Gear studio.
