Losing Pili has proven to be devastating.

No adjustments in the 2nd half. It's not hard to figure out the handful of plays so to speak that the offense plays. I love my vols but c'mon let's do better.

We’re a good football team, no doubt, but things have clarified a bit this season for me. Huepel has been caught up short at wide receiver. Missing on Ryan Wingo turns out to be a huge whiff. Something is fundamentally missing in the middle of the field. Either the wide splits in the offensive scheme or the lack of talent within the receiver room negates any exploitation of the center of the opposing defense. This failure in offensive scheme leaves Huepel no other choice than running the ball. He obviously agrees. I’ll go out on a limb here and say he changes the offense next year and uses a more standard approach to balance out with the talent he’s recruiting. He’ll have to teach a more disciplined route structure with more motions and scrapes, less hooks and wheels, less receiver screens. He’s be reduced to a dink and dunk passing game which doesn’t produce chunk plays. The offense simply isn’t good enough to sustain 12-14 play drives and score in the short red zone. Too many mistakes and dropped passes lead to aborted drives that result in a short field for the opposition.

Is the defensive coordinator not capable of adjusting g in the fly , like after 2 Georgia drives where they are doing anything they want it's pretty obvious hey our plan isn't working let's switch it up why aren't Tennessee coaches able to adjust are they forced to follow the plan I don't get it

To me, it was the run. And for whatever reason we leaned too much on the pass and squandered too many downs doing anything other than running the ball. Can you guys look up how many years it's been since a team beat us that had a 104th ranked rushing offense? No, this was not UGA just being UGA. That was OC play calling and Tim Banks refusing to send any more pressure than 4 only off the line. There is zero excuse for this. On the road, our blitz and added bodies off the D line never materialize. At home, is there at times but not consistently. This defense got better because it got more depth and nothing of Tim Bank's doing. The Ole Miss D, gave us perfect blue print and Tim must have thought it was a fake defense and decided only 4, again and we lost. That's been present in all our losses since 22. Ready for Banks to leave. He's a good DC but a horrible game situational DC. "It's 4 or bust". This isn't hard to figure out. Same thing.

They staked the box with 7 and 8 at time and we still ran the ball well on them during those downs. Sampson went right through them. Second half, we went away from it. This is poor OC work. And Heuepl let him do this, over and over. "We are a run first offense". Really? They couldn't stop the run and needed us to put the ball up. We lost this game the only way we could. We don't need the gigantic big plays if we are running the ball and wisely mixing in some short RPO short pass. There, I said it so you all don't have to. This is some of the worst decision making when OC play calling scheme I've seen.

GWHITE! MY MAN! I LOVE YOUR HALF CORRECT TAKE ON THE GAME SIR! HEUPAL DOES NEED TO HIRE AN OC AND CHANGE THE OFFENSE (IT DOESNT WORK). YOUR BIGGEST MISTAKE IS THAT YOU DONT UNDERSTAND FOOTBALL SIR. UGA PLAYED 6 IN THE BOX AGAINST THE VOLS 8 ALL NIGHT LONG. FOR THE MOST PART UGA STOPPED THE RUN WITH 6. NICO COULDNT PASS WITH 5 DB'S FOR THE MOST PART. THIS IS 8 GAMES IN A ROW THAT UGA HELD THE VOLS TO UNDER 20 POINTS? MIKE BOBO ATE TIM BANKS LUNCH AND THREW HIM IN A LOCKER! WOOOOOO!

@@alanvtrollpatrol662 Man chill with the caps. It makes everything you said twice as stupid lol. UGA played a loaded box most of the night and TN still ran on them. Our issue was we didn't stick with the run enough, especially in the second half. TN was the more physical team by far. UGA played all out to stop the run, it didn't. TN just went more passing by far than we normally do. UGA never stopped the run, evidence by the continued formations. Heavy box most of the night. And you certainly never went light in the box. Banks will never rush more than 4. You got exposed long ago by UK! lol. than Ole Miss, Bama.. so no, yoru not what you were and TN is better than they were. It was tied with 4 mins left in the game, sir lol. wtf is your point? You'd get that azz beat at a neutral site or in Neyland lol. What will happen is this. GT will send the house and you'll have passing issues, again. Your 104th in rushing coming into the TN game. That isn't going to work against any other team as no other team will try to get home with 4 all night. And I been watching football for 4 and half decades, you know shite compared to me about football lol. We never even stayed in 12 personnel. YOu also got a whole lot of help from the refs lol. We all know in Athens, this is a thing lol. It's a shame too, cause all anyone thinks now isn't about your effort but about how the refs saved UGA. Whoever heard of 3 second rule for subbing lol? Phantom face masks and fumbles called incomplete passes lol. But you needed the win to stay alive and the SEC is going to protect the SEC to get as many in as possible. But if you go to the SECCG, don't lose. You got two losses and a third loss and your done lol. If Bama goes and beats you there, well, looks better for us, and a good night Irene for the playoffs.. That is, if you get to the SECCG. I still think we get in at least 4, maybe 5.
