Montreal Santa Claus Parade November 23, 2019

The 69th edition of the Santa Claus Parade brought together more than 17 creatively designed floats, as marching bands from across the country and great street performers added to the festive atmosphere.
Among the various paintings that sowed magic, music and laughter over more than a kilometer, there were brand new floats and the presence of mascots, such as Youppi of the Montreal Canadian, Junior of the Impact, Touché from the Alouettes, Martly the Martlet from McGill University, M. Peanut from Planters and Geoffrey the giraffe from Toys "R" Us.
We should also mention the participation of Arthur L’aventurier as well as the return of the floats of the sparkling Ari Cui Cui and the performers Brigitte Boisjoli, Christian Marc Gendron and Yoan from the show Noël une tradition en chanson.
For the very first time this year, Cirque du Soleil took part on a float with the new on-ice creation of the AXEL show. Another innovation, three tanks were towed by Tesla X electric vehicles, including that of the Cirque du Soleil!
