I had my customer buy the AC1750 extender that looks very much like this one and it has worked perfectly. My customer has an IP phone that is far from the router and required a wired connection. With the WPS setup I was able to guide him over the phone. Really great during Covid

Both do a good job. However, extender location is the primary key to getting the best signal quality and most distance out of any extender not just this one. You might experience interference problems, for example: thick walls or floors, other electronic equipment or extender might be to far away from router...etc. Test until you find the best sweet spot somewhere mid way between your Primary Router and your Wifi device connecting to the extender. This will give you the best consistently solid and strongest signal quality from the extender to your wifi device.
So I have followed these steps. And the wifi tells me (no internet, secured). And I've looked at the other comments and resetted the extender a numerous amount of times. But it is still giving me the same thing. How do I fix that?

WPS might not work if it's not enable or is disable in your router/modem settings. Suggest trying the alternative method setting up the extender manually as shown in my video. I have this same extender, and it connects to my main access point (which itself is connected directly with a wire to my firewall), all steps in this video work as presented, but when connecting to the extender's SSID my devices don't get Internet access. Accessing the main access point for connectivity works, but not through the extender. I have not found any information anywhere that has helped figure out the issue.
Suggestions: 1) You most likely will need to perform a repeater reset again by using the RESET button (press and hold for a REAL 12-14 seconds) while it's plugged into a wall outlet and power is on, then release the RESET button and go through the setup steps again as shown in my video. 2) Also when setting it up, it's important to double check that you are using the correct wifi password to connect to your router/modem with the Extender during set up or you will not be able to make a connection to your new WiFi Extender or have no Internet connection.
@@nickscomputerfix It turned out to be an issue with the main AP, so I took this and turned it into a secondary AP and connected it to a different port on the firewall, different IP block, and a separate DHCP assignment block and used a smaller/cheaper extender to connect to it. I updated the firmware on that other AP but that didn't help. Sometimes it's not the devices we're configuring but the devices we're connecting through being the problem.

Try powering off and back on your wifi device (laptop, computer, phone...etc) and then do the same with both your primary router and your extender once. Let them reconnect and then try again the previous suggestion.
I have one issue the extender works I enabled both 5g and 2.4g but when I try to connect to it with my phone I can only see the 2g *not* the 5g wifi the same thing happens when I try to do it with WPS method but this *only* happens with my phone every other device shows both the 2.4g and the 5g. 5:55 for that step I chose my router for both of them (my router is virgin media superhub 3 black) Oh and my phone is a samsung a11 if that information helps

Yes you can do the extender setup with your phone. The same way as shown in my video. Just use the internet browser on your phone. Also setup without WPS is show in the video too.

i set mine up a while back and after about 3 months later and I accidentally unplugged it and now it has stopped working, the power light is stuck on amber and i cant even factory reset it. I set it up and all four lights are solid green but its not broadcasting any signals at all.

Both bands should work on your phone. The Samsung A11 supports dual-band connectivity.

No matter what I try, the extender will not set up.
You most likely will need to perform a repeater reset by using the RESET button (press and hold for a REAL 12-14 seconds) while it's plugged into a wall outlet and power is on, then release the RESET button and go through the setup steps again as shown in my video. Also try moving the Extender closer to where your router is located while setting it up, then you can move it if you need to and connect it up to your PS4. Also when setting it up double check that you are using the correct wifi password to connect to your router with the Extender during setting it up and again that it's close to the primary router during the setup and configuration steps.
This shit won’t connect to my xfinity wifi it allowed me to connect it threw the app an now it says the network it gives me won’t work someone please help

Whenever I press the WPS button on my extender and wait two minutes then I press it on router it doesn’t connect
