Feels nice to finally be able to say this: Watching this on my S24 ultra
Nice! How has it been?
@@dairhat hasn't even been a week since I got it. So far pretty great, still going through all the settings and customizing
iPad Pro
Congrats....
SAME 😤
this is a feast for my 21:9 monitor. love the video format!
Watching this on my S24. Don't have the ultra though. Just the base model. I love this phone.
Doesn't you feel overheating or laggy? Cause some Exynos users complained about it
@@akhmadbarizilhak2399it isn't Exynos in the us
Real world I've tested my S24U against most of the other top flagship models from friends and family, and I totally disagree with you that it's not the best in anything. It has the best screen hands down. It has the best feature suite hands down. Just because YOU don't use some features, doesn't mean they aren't vital to others and hands down a better feature than other phones rendition of features. The SPen jumps to mind. The SPen can do sooooooo many more things than 99% of users realize it can do. There are hour long SPen feature tutorials which move at light speed. Most people just don't know all it can do. And that is the case with many other features on this phone. The sound is as good as any phone I've heard, or better. The gaming experience is unsurpassed. The battery life is longer than any other phone I've ever used, including my S23U. And I keep my phone on full brightness. This phone is the full package and I defy anyone to approach me with their flagship phone, sit down side by side and put them through their paces. I've won handily with everyone I've tried this with, especially CRapple people.
Hahaha, I agree. Just got the phone a few days ago and it's absolutely amazing. Although, the image processing in some situations really shines the camera in a bad light. I don't recall this happening with my previous phone (S21 Plus). I hope they fix this in a software update. Too much contrast, blowing out the light in images with shadows a bit too much.
Samsung recently enhanced battery performance way way better in the May patch which was rolled out a day ago. Unfortunately your video was uploaded a day behind and you missed out on the battery enhancement updates in this video. Right now the battery performance on the S24 Ultra is so freaking good.
bro your videos are so high quality and just feel smooth
👍
The views you are getting are criminally low. You are doing everything correctly, nay, perfect. Why is it this low? I've been following you for a couple of years now, I don't get it.
the format of your videos is just perfect ...
for me that coating is a life changer, I am a software developer and i work in office and basically semi light places and thwere less reflaction and darker screen makes day night difference than my s23 ultra.
The reviewer said that he couldn’t really see a difference,i guess he got problem with his eyes
waiting on my s24 ultra. upgrading from the 21 ultra and can´t wait. coming this week :D
0:30 where I can find this wallpaper please?
I can see you spend a lot of times to choose colours, and tools to make these videos. A huge congratulations because its amazing. Also the background always fantastic so yeah you're on the top in my list because I always enjoy every single second when I watch your videos. Thank you for your job and your time. Peace. 😊
Are you sure about the battery, me and my wife are using the S24 ultra and the battery is much better than S23 ultra
I have an s23 ultra and the s24 ultra..the performance is noticable but only slightly. I have noticed that occasional stutter is no longer there. I know its not a big deal hahq but i did notice. Great video man.
This is my first time watching anything on this channel. I was so impressed by the quality of the content I subscribed the minute I finished watching the video.
Watching your 21:9 video on my Xperia 1 V is a cinematic delightful.
Always excited for this series ❤🎉 Also the Intro.. wow
Mate watching your beautifully crafted reviews is a therapeutic process of its own.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you!!
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra or the Oppo Find X7 Ultra aren’t better in photos and videos ?
Which notes app are you using 1:47 timespan please let me know ❤
Bro it's really sad that we can only view the good homescreen setup in his app (Palette) and the wallpapers which I really wanted I can't get them
Watching on my S24 Ultra. Loving it!
i'm trying to build that app bar similar to he has but i just can't get it right, what do i do??
i have changed my icon pack and when the phone goes in aod it doesnt invert colors like it does in the lockscreen. So my icons are black but their color should become white in aod for me to be able to actually see them. It doesnt. do you have a solution to this?
I am so jealous of his wallpaper collection. They are amazing
I've got an app coming out very soon where all these wallpapers are from 👀
Ooooo cant wait@sambeckman
@@sambeckmanDoes that include the one at 2:20 on the Nothing Phone? Absolutely need that
@@eando97 Nope, that's from One4Wall I believe. Been a while though, so don't quote me on that.

hello @sambeckman, what's the name of the launcher at 7:54?
One question after three months of use? Have you used are screen protector? 😅
Can you explain the face unlock issue further please? I don't understand why you would be bothered by the fingerprint sensor disappearing from the screen once it has recognised your face and unlocked, the phone is already unlocked so you want the option to have two forms of unlocking simultaneously? Loved this video btw, very clean and informative 💪🏼
Watching your videos on my phone and being able to take advantage of the 21:9 aspect ratio is always appreciated. Good video as always.
Your videos are the most underrated . They are so well-made premium videos but do not get the attention they deserve. I wish you more views are subscribers Sam !
Nope cause we don't care about the garbage trash Piss Alls etc...too many cheapie phone reviews
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN who asked
waiting for the s25 ultra since my bf bought me the pixel when it came out :(
Sam how did you change icon packs on stock one ui? I'm using nova at the moment!
No point in going stock over Nova
Can you explain the fingerprint icon and face unlock issue? If you authenticate with your face, you won't need a fingerprint icon or to scan it as the phone is unlocked? Have I missed your point here?
I guess he means using the sensor after the Face unlock occurs. Which is silly because Samsung let's you skip the lock screen altogether after a face unlock. Just nitpicking over extremely minor details.
@@AzureRT456 Is there a reason you'd want to authenticate twice, if not just a second security option? I've heard this complaint before and it still seems odd so just checking I'm understanding it correctly lol
@@Tackyauto it's just youtuber nitpicking, I have face unlock enabled but I have it set to ignore the lock screen and take me to wherever I last left off. If Sam is just gonna use the fingerprint sensor then why didn't he just use it in the first place? bit silly innit
@@AzureRT456Would think he means if face unlock fails
I am your biggest fan sir, typing this all the way from GHANA 🇬🇭
I have turned on the performance profile to Light from standard, I am getting great battery life.
Galaxy s24+. switched from an Iphone 15 Pro. Glad I switched to the light.
Fingerprint scanner is better as works through tempered glass screen protectors now. My 23 ultra had to have a cut out or weird gel where the scanner was. The 24 doesn't
What a beautifully made video.. its a delight to watch.
what icon pack are you using? Seems great

why you want fingerprint senser after you unlock the phone with face id ?
what the purpose you already unlocked the phone?
He's semi-rtrded. 😂
Great phone watching on S 24 Ultra 512 gb
I've never had haptics turned on on my phone before (or controller for that matter), as soon as I felt it on the Ultra, I fell in love.
sam please drop a yt short or a mini tutorial of how to make that app bar please
Watching this on my S24 ultra but its kinda sad to see no one talking about the grainy display issue others see. Mines has it but nowhere near as bad as other pictures ive seen. Outside of that literally the perfect phone unless I'm on a gray background at 2 am with low brightness 😭.
I got mine 2 days ago, and same grainy display issue. Have you had color banding? Mine has that too
plls provide wallpapeer link along with your videos
2:20 the fingerprint Icon does disapear after face is recognized, what are you talking about?
It turns into a button that I can press to unlock the phone. On Samsung phones, the icon completely disappears altogether.
@@sambeckman oh, ok. I still don't get the problem, just swipe and it's unlocked? Seems so benign, but I guess, it defeats the purpose of using an android if you can't dial it in to the way YOU want it. It's just not an issue for me.
I'm literally watching on a 720p laptop and this is looking better then my future 😭
you gotta make a color grading tutorial man
What a beatiful video wow, you're awesome bro!
Great review. watching from my s24+, not the ultra though. But I love this phone .
Just to add my own views, because i bought the ultra pretty much at the presentation in January.
short version: user experience 99.9% matches my user experience with my old Note 20 ultra
longer version:
The phone looks better (which is actually important to me). Not as much as people (youtuber) try to make out .. with the more squared off edges, the flat screen and so - those design aspects are actually minor or irrelevant. What DOES make a difference is not having the huge camera mountain of the Note 20 ultra in the rear. The screen itself feels nearly the same to me. I know it has a lot more brightness (not so relevant in my country - we do not have too much sunshine), better colour presentation and whatever else .. but for me, a casual user - it is 100% the same. (and that includes the rounded corners vs. the flat screen ... user-wise, no difference)
The battery lasts - what a surprise - for a similar amount of time. Yes, i am sure, i ended my "day" on the Note at around 20% .. and i end my day on the 24 ultra at 45% .. but none of that makes a difference. I put both to "protect battery mode" at 80% .. charge them when i get home and leave them on stand by for the night and ready to be used for the next day.
The AI stuff .... not useless .. but useless to me, i dont do photos with a phone.
The camera ... same thing .. not taking photos on a phone - they all suffer from processing, no matter what phone.
Size and weight - it is heavier than the Note 20 ultra, but not so much that it makes a difference.
Materials - this one is actually a big one. I appreciate the inclusion of the MUCH tougher display glass, that seems "nearly" on par with sapphire (but not quite). I do not know how shatter resistant it is .. because i tend not to drop my phone(s) ... but i guess that it is glass - and so it can crack.
My connections and hotspot connectivity "seems" noticably better on the 24 ultra compared to the note. I do not know why .. but i get a consistant and good connectivity on the 24 ultra in rooms and places where i did not get a signal on the note 20. Connecting to the hotspot also works much better.
my conclusion is:
The 24 ultra is a good phone. However .. Samsungs (and most phone makers) improvements are only miniscule. Ever since the .. i think the s10 (about that time) .. Samsung has not made great leaps anymore. I could easily do everything i am doing today with a S10 5G. Much like i could do everything with an iPhone X today or a Huawei Mate 40 ... phones have plateaued.
I dont think the s10 had esim. To be fair that's a big deal. Allows you to have dual sim phone, and great if you travel internationally.
My note 20 ultra has a memory card slot, which I value greatly. Especially when I dropped an old phone in water and it fried. But stuff on my memory card was saved.
I'll stick with my N20U till it stops working. To your point not much improvement since the N20 to warrant an upgrade
Performance is clearly better on the S24U and better optimization. I don't care about your points either i use them both. S24U is really fluid and i try to make stutter i can lol. I did make the S23U stutter on heavy load a couple of times. Performance difference aint drastic but its there for sure
Bro, why are you lying? What do you mean you can't see the difference side by side when using other phones when you're referring to the anti-reflective gorilla armor glass?
I was using the S23 Ultra and I pre-ordered the S24 Ultra so I've been using it for 3 months and yes, the phones are different. Especially the display when reading emails outdoors. C'mon.
Not totally in agreement with all your views but can I just say: great video production !! Top notch quality reviewing indeed. Will follow you just on that.
That thumbnail is clean!
Feels nice to finally be able to say this: Watching this on my S24 ultra 1:24
Just got my s24 ultra + galaxy watch 6 for free.. great deal
Thumbnail phone wallpaper?
Any green light after 2 years?
One issue bothers me , on Samsung internet browser when you call the keyboard it slides a bit laggy . Overall though great phone
Change from an iPhone 14 pro to this and I love it
Upgraded from an iPhone 13 and I am enjoying the change
It is already 3 months 😅wow the time goes very fast
smart choice would have been to go with the 0.5x 1X 5x 10x. The 3x is useless bc the sensor is so small that most of the time it crops into the main sensor to get light
This aspect ratio is PERFECT.
Can you make a S23 ultra review? How the phone is after 1 year.
Did you root it?
I need the wallpaper from the thumbnail! 😍
It's from an app I'm currently working on. Coming soon!
0:34 Jesus Christ... I hope those 100 out of folder/grouped apps are organized in some sort of way lol I bought my mom an unlocked A55 and the first 10 minutes was me re-organizing it for her and instructing her how to manage where to put apps lol
Is it worth?
what icon that u used? how can it so small..

is the display grainy issue still there ?
No
so good!
I need that icon pack. Thanks in advance
Whens the amazing and high quality review on Oneplus 12?
Where I get thumbnail used wallpaper?
Coming soon 👀
@@sambeckman please give
flat screen ?
IMO, Samsung should have opted for a higher MP 3x sensor, and should have retained the 10x optical zoom camera. That way, we'd have got a better 3.1x-9.9x digital zoom range as compared to previous generation phones without compromising with the amazing space zoom capabilities. And needless to say that we'd still be having 3x-6x portraits range in this setup too, so a win-win there too.
Watching from my 24 Ultra 😊
Newy Represent! 👊🏻👍🏻
Why are the icons so tint 😅
He is the best UA-camr ... the quality, the content, the format, the reality....Love from INDIA dude :)
Android has an issue which no one seems to address: Very poor cameras on everything but Pixel, premium Samsung and premium Sony.
Everything else is junk and you'd think that in the budget segment(the highest sales volume market) would see better cameras, CPU and design but they seem to churn out the same phones year after year but with new names and designs.
I mean look at the CPUs: they all are basically still equal to a SD 690/695 which came out 3 years ago I think.
No 7 series and no 8 series gen 1 etc. If Apple makes the SE good and affordable alot of these OEM's will see a massive loss, especially Samsung.
QUE PASA CON LA SELFIE PORQUE SE VE MEDIO BORROSO?
Does anyone know the icon packs?
It's my very own Drops Icon Pack - play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drops.icons
For me, about haptics (which I consider fundamental), my top is:
1-Iphone (pro max has better than standard iphones but stop on top 1)
2-Xiaomi
3-Samsung and Pixel (both have their respective pros / cons)
Had mine for a month. Switched from iphone and I'm loving it with no regrets whatsoever
Great video, Sam! Love the quality of your clips.
However, as someone who owned the S24 ultra and then returned it after a full month of daily use, I can't agree with "honestly, it has no issues whatsoever". For me, the cameras have been hit or miss (mostly the latter, unfortunately); even turning off all post-processing has not improved the results. Portraits of my kids were a mess in almost every situation, as were selfies where more than 2 people were in the frame. And there were multiple software bugs (apps not loading properly or hanging, like UA-cam, Gmail, Microsoft apps etc.). To add insult to injury, note the display issues so many people are complaining about. Even the sales rep I returned the phone to mentioned that a lot of unhappy customers are returning the device. So yeah, not quite a success for Samsung, unfortunately, especially when you consider the price. Hopefully they will have a better proposition next year.
Could you share which phone you ended up getting as a replacement?
@@SThais85 sorry for the late reply. I just went back to my iPhone 14 pro.
I'm watching this on my beast of a phone s24 ultra 😊
I hate to say it but I can’t stand OneUI I’ve had all the ultra phones except the 24 Ultra and I just can’t stand OneUI but I love the phone and its hardware.
You videos are😍
I love the quality of Samsung products overall. I'm watching on my Z fold 3 and its still going strong. Idk if i can go back to a conventional smartphone 🤭
Having a big bright oled on my persons has changed my train commutes for the better. I cant go back to Netflix on a normal phone lol
Hey I have the z fold 5 and I am worried whether the screen will break without any particular reason, is your one okay and how many years has it been since you started using it?
How's the durability so far?
Like it with my S24U
S24 ultra is big brother ❤
I think some of us don't know this, if you on your home screen, double tap on side of your screen will lock your phone
Oh gosh thought this was an Ozzy Man review. 😭
You spying me? Was just searching review later video about the phone 😂
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, I’ve had iOS for years and instead of getting a iPhone 15pm , I’m considering getting a s24U
Samsung needs to implement a faster charging(80-100W) and it will be perfect!
Watching on iPhone 15 pro max feeling a little sad…. 😢
Love my s24 ultra but i have to agree the fingerprint sensor and face unlock are completely useless. Only thing i miss from apple is flawless faceid. Im back to old school pattern security.
The fingerprint sensors great wtf do you mean??? It's the best fingerprint sensor available on a flagship the face ids not tht grt tbh
