With a choke named “Gobblin Thunder”, it better hold a pattern. Good to see it lived up to its name. Thanks for sharing your results. Be well my friends.
Haha. That’s right!
That is probably the best patterning gun I have ever seen. Those were all great, but some were greater than anything I could imagine. That Apex blend and that Rogue 9.5 did things I wouldn’t believe had I not seen it.
RIGHT! Especially from a 28 gauge!
Crazy patterns! Love my SA28. Good luck this year!
So crazy! Don’t have the SA-28?
@@ReviewThisThing We will be putting the Wifes SA28 to the test in the morning! Can't wait!
@troyrussell4733 heck yeah! Good luck. Head to our website and email us a pic if you get one. Or tag us on social media!
awesome video.
Thanks so much!
Another awesome video. I have the same gun with a trulock .515 choke. It really likes Salt Creek 10 s and the Berdict 9 s. Viper 8.5/9.5 looks pretty much like your pattern.
Thank you for watching! Have you seen our Trulock .515 video?? Thanks for the info!
@@ReviewThisThing yes I did. That choke just flat gets it done. You used a few loads I haven’t tried and they were impressive
@@terrylockwood2430 It's crazy how well it shoots!

@stevenrega9109 ??
Foxtrot seemed to be the most uniformed pattern. Even though pellet count was down it’s a shooter. I know foxtrot ammo tends to like a more open choke. So that could be a factor
Could be for sure. Thanks!
Those 8 10 combo apex are very impressive I seen a video put of 20 gauge an they were good in it too. Looks like hard choice between those an the verdict. Vipers are impressive I've been told they can be hard to get
Viper supply is definitely less than some others. It’s pretty much a one-man business. All the loads are crazy impressive!
@ReviewThisThing Yeah I'm only a few hours from where they are made. A friend shoots them an is going to get some probably don't have much this time of year but is gonna try to hook me up hopefully
Good luck!
Apex, rogue and verdict looked awesome. Hows the shoulder after doing that test? I have never shot a 28 before but still looks like a good kick.
It does still have a kick for sure. I have a Limbsaver pad on it that makes a huge difference!
Have you guys ever considered cleaning between shots? I’ve always seen patterns get worse with a dirty barrel. I don’t mean that ugly. Love these videos. I want to win that gun!
We never have. And we’ve haven’t really seen that earlier shots are better, but it would be interesting to see. Well, and gentleman named Mike has won and claimed his prize, but it’s a very sweet shotgun!
