He is a hall of famer
I think if Theismann had been able to play longer, or at least begin playing sooner than he did, he probably could have been.
@@johnbrowntheprophet No, it's close. I agree, he's not a Hall of Famer, he just doesn't quite have the numbers, consistency or duration of career, but it's close. If he wins Super Bowl XVIII against the Raiders and if Lawrence Taylor doesn't break his leg and he bounces back from his awful start to 1985 and puts together another strong 2-3 seasons he's ABSOLUTELY a Hall of Famer.
@@zyxwut321 - I agree. 👍🏻 If he had played a few more years, then you could make a better argument for his Hall of Fame candidacy, but, even then, he was already 36 when he suffered his career ending injury, so it’s unlikely that he would have played at an elite level for two or three more years. Hard to say. 🤷🏻♂️
Those were the days.

He’s still complaining about losing the Heisman Trophy to Jim Plunkett. 🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️
No he isn't? He said himself in one of these NFL film segments that Jim deserved the Heisman.
@@IcedEarth426 - That’s all he’s whined and complained about for 50 years, Bro!!! 🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️
@@w41duvernay - Ummmmmm yeah, Theismann whined and complained about not winning the Heisman Trophy for *DECADES.* *DECADES!!!* 🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️

The 60-80s were classic NFL games! George Soros/Roger Goodell Beta Bullshit Ball does not compare. Excellent clip on a great QB and HC!
