I did look a bit into the story a couple years ago but I still think that ignoring all the weird demon stuff happening and like parents being controlling, Kyle was in the wrong for cheating on Rin because they were betrothed. If you take a step back, this is like one of those "Villainess bullies Heroine" tropes where the ML is obviously cheating.
It would be actually understandable for rilliane to try and kill Micheala since her and Kyle are engaged, i mean, she was heartbroken, she (i think) truly loved Kyle but he cheated with micheala

Allen, not wanting for her to be hated by people, taunt her how she only started this revolution bs of her revenge fantasy and how he was the one who killed their adopted father.
Shocked, Germanie left him alone without saying a world.
But even after that, she still loved Allen as her little brother.

Kyle also recognized him. But he(Allen) lied saying he(again, Allen) killed Michaela(it was actually Ney in disguise that did so) and Kyle got mad enough that he HIT Allen hard enough to leave a mark, DESPITE the laws of his(Kyle's) country clearly stating that it's illegal to harm prisoners of war. A childhood friend of Allen and Germaine recognized him on the guillotine, but by that time it was to late and "Riliane" was executed at 3 o'clock at tea time, Riliane's favorite time of the day, three days after "her" capture. They were 14 at the time. A child who would never see another day. They're last wish was to be able to play with their sibling "in another live". But instead of saying that, their last words were ones that the crowd would believe "the daughter of evil" would say. Riliane was already far away by the time of the execution and he hallucinated her voice at his execution. He died in a dress.
It's a really sad ending and I cried a lot. Especially since Riliane actually begged him to stay with her and not to get captured. I think his sacrifice was what gave her the courage to finally fight back against the demon that possessed her.
Kyle actually knew Allen took Riliane’s place. He gave Allen the choice of exposing Riliane or dying. And well, y’all know what Allen chose.
And Allen didn’t kill Michaela. Ney did.

I really loved this video because it's the actual story of the novels and part of your hc/au and it's not just Rin, Len, Kaito, Meiko but their actual name from the chronicles and of course the designs are just *chefs kiss*

Maybe if Kyle didn’t ignore Riliane’s feelings and talked with her, things could be better. He could change Riliane,because she loved him deeply. I think Riliane would listen to Kyle and try to become better if he talked with her about his feelings.

Fun Fact: Germaine knew that Allen was pretending to be Rillaine but when Germaine tried to free him, Allen admitted he killed her father/his stepdad so Germaine decided not to save him but not without at least a little bit of guilt and a lot of reluctance.

yeah,i don’t hate Riliane either,but the fact that she is 14 doesn’t justify her. Sure she was too young to rule a kingdom,but what she did was genocide. She did an “adult” crime and must be responsible for it.

If we think about it, Rilliane is only 14 and yet is engaged, yet how old is her fiancé? Probably on google, but if Len really died at the end of servant of evil how could it be so that daughter of evil has an ending where Rin is the one that dies? (If you haven't listened to the English cover by JubyPhonic I'd suggest you listen to it to understand further more.) So, if Len died in servant of evil, how could it be so that Rin died at daughter of evil? In regret message, we see that Rin is all alone, wearing a black cardigan her brother have to her before his execution in servant of evil, she goes to the shore and has bottle with a letter in it, the line goes "a little bottle/letter with a little regret in it" implying she regrets what she's done in the past, ordering her brother to kill Michaela (the maiden who Kyle is in love with) , Constantly asking money from her servants if the tyrant didn't have any money anymore, or just truly becoming an evil princess in general, I'd say Len doesn't deserve to die, he got ordered to do dirty work to keep Rin safe, and yet she gets suspected and blamed, and he ends up dying not Rin. This all happens because of two things Len says in servant of evil, "Oh my lady my queen I will serve until I die" and "Now quickly change your clothing and go in my place, I will stay behind and wait while you make your escape, it will be okay I was born to live this day, not a single soul will know that you got away". As Len says this the next line is impoying he's now his sister (the queen) and Rin is on the run, when Len is about to be beheaded, Rin runs to the front of the place where Len is beheaded, seeing her brother die, Rin quickly fled, without anyone noticing (since they are twins after all) , The story continues with the next song being " Regret Message" Rin sings this as of trying to talk to her brother or others through a message in a bottle, although she says there's a little regret in the letter, I can be sure enough to know that she regrets all she's done, even after going through all that, she learns her lesson in Regret Message. Why? Because she's already lost everything. She's lost Len, she's lost her right to the throne, her kingdom, and her wealth. So now the question is, why is there a different ending in daughter of evil but another one in servant of evil? servant of evil is the one that makes more sense, since Regret Message focuses on Rin trying to talk to Len through a message in a bottle, it would only make sense on the ending of servant of evil, the ending being Len dying and Rin alive and sad. So why in both covers are different? In all covers of servant if evil, none of those have an ending where Rin dies. So why does JubyPhonic's daughter of evil cover have another ending different from the other? Simple, the translations are different yet somewhat similar, in every servant of evil cover in English there's always the ending where Len dies, and Rin goes to the next chapter without him, but the daughter of evil ones are somewhat different. They have the same plot and story yes, but different endings. You've wasted you're time reading this. But thank you either way.

Since Allen looks exactly like Rillane, it was easy to pretend he was tyrant princess. And he died in disguise as Rillane in public. So, ppl wrote that princess was executed bs that what they saw.

Allen swapped places with Riliane before "she" got arrested, so in canon he is the one that dies (Daughter of Evil, as most evillious songs, is misleading and just represents what the people thought of her. I'd suggest you don't trust what some songs says since they tend to lie a lot (Enbizaka tailor as an example) and Juby's cover also has misleading stuff (Such as Michaela's social status)
Allen also didnt kill Michaela, it was Ney pretending to be him. Allen wanted to run away and keep her safe

I thought len would do anything for rin, but why is he unwilling
he would do anything for his sister in canon,but i changed it a bit in my AU.
For example:
In the novels Allen kills his adoptive-father because of Riliane’s order,but i think it’s stupid. Riliane and Ney ( maid in the castle ) lied to him that Leonhart ( Allen’s father ) was trying to kill the princess and secretly gave castle’s food to the citizens.
Allen did believe that rumour and killed his father with cruelty just because “riliane is my twin-sister and she is always right”
I don’t like such moments in the novels so i changed it.
In this AU Allen executed Leonhart under the pressure of Riliane. He didn’t had other choice.
Also,most of people think that Allen killed his love,Michaela ( green haired girl ),but it isn’t true. She was killed by Ney ( who pretended to be Allen )
And it worked because Ney is Allen’s half sister.
I don’t like that most of the fans interpreters Riliane and Allen’s relationship as “Riliane is my twin sister,so i would do anything for her,even kill my own father and love of my life”
In my opinion it makes canon Allen as a weak person,who is cruel just as his sister,because he kills innocent people for one person.
In canon,Allen really wanted to save Riliane in the revolution scene,so switched their clothes.
But in this AU,it wouldn’t make sense,since he lost his loved ones for his sister. So i decided that Allen felt he couldn’t live with the guilt of killing others under pressure of his sister,and switched with Riliane to “punish” her.
After the execution Riliane realised she lost her most beloved servant,friend AND twin brother,so she changed. She wouldn’t realise her sins if it wasn’t for Allen’s sacrifice.
His execution made her a different person. Allen didn’t forgive his sister for what she did,but he couldn’t unlove her emotionally.

Well, it wasn't Riliane's full fault. She was posested by demon of pride.
And only after Allen's death, the demon left her.
After his death, Allen was fobiten to go to heaven, so he was sent in black box where god give him some task.
After 5 years. Riliane was about to be killed by Clarith (idk how to spell) , and Allen begged the god to let him save his sister, wich he let him.

@@mikipatka5246 i don’t fully blame Riliane. The Demon of Pride can be excuse for her,but it doesn’t make her fully innocent. Plus i don’t really like the idea of “everyone is innocent,it’s only demon’s fault”,which is why i changed it. I like the idea of “Riliane becoming obsessive over a power of controlling everyone, because her parents used to feed her brain with political things since the childhood,were paranoid because of multiple attacks to her family,and she had a trauma from losing her brother”, than “Riliane was innocent after all lets blame everything on the demon lol”
And in my personal opinion Allen’s “loyalty” to his sister in the ranobe written very badly. I felt like his only trait is “I’ll kill everyone who doesn’t like the Princess because she is my sister”
But thats only my opinion.
So thats why I rewrite many things.

But, there is something I want to say. Allen did promised to their mother he will protect Riliane no matter what.
Plus, Allen could have run away with Riliane (he could've give her his uniform and go away with her without any sussept). He did have choice, and he chosed to take her place, but why? Bs Allen sees this as his own punnisment, bs he killed his adoptive father and he couldn't protect the love of his life (he sees Michallas death as his fault) so, he wants to fufill promise he give to their mother and protected his twin and punnish himself.
The only reason why Kyle let Allen get die is bs Allen lied him that he killed Michella. And Germanie let it him die bs he reviled he killed their father and taunted her for doing this out of revenge.
Soon it was time for his death. Allen had panic attact and almost regreted not running away with his sister. But then he saw illusion of his chidhood and calmed himself. You know the rest.
