I love how PROUD they both are to be queer, both in real life and in their roles here. I have been a HUGE fan of Auli'i's for YEARS and to see her journey has been amazing! I love the pride she has in every character she plays, she truly is beyond brilliant!
Did it justice? Jaquel was flat out a superior Damien in my opinion.
I'll always have a soft spot for Grey who played Damian on Broadway but Jaquel absolutely killed it.
Of course Daniel was great too but I love these two just a little bit more.
Yasss both of the characters have always been icons for me. I came out bi last year and just listening the songs that damian and janis sing in the broadway musical helped me come out. Listening to the new soundtrack has helped me dive back in to the queer part of me.
They were soooooo good 🌈💕
