  • Jeremiah 29:11 is a popular Bible verse that can be found on coffee mugs, Pinterest art, and memes: "For I know the plans I have for you." God does have great plans for his people, but the way that verse has been used today is not the way God intended it.

God disciplines us to bring us back to Him when we fall away. And this is why. 🥰

Pastor Mike, thank you for helping us (aka me) keep our focus on God and His plans and intentions to prosper and give hope to His people, even in less-than ideal circumstances of their own making. HALLELUJAH ! ! ! ! !

Be open to the words of life that transform me not just a pat on the back that comforts me in a place of stagnation.

I always thought of this as our home in heaven...hope= heaven, prosper= best of heaven. But that's just me...

Yes, some people have God swoop down and protect them from the monsters, others he lets them destroy us even though he made us with our hearts too big. Anything I ever wanted is long time past so that prosperity gospel must be for the next life. The only people this sermon works on is the ones who are just internally begging for a "good word" so they can wait for the next "good word"......
